It's nice to see a game site acknowledging that the Wii is dead, and not trying to kiss up to Nintendo like a lot of others do. There are no games coming out for the thing other than this Zelda game, and it doesn't look like a good game at all. Horrible graphics.
Until we go entirely to digital downloads (which may or not be the standard next gen), and retailers like Gamestop go out of business, used game sales are going to remain a constant. In essence, developers are biting the hand that feeds them, because companies like Gamestop are pushing preorders on their new products just as much as their used games. So they can't afford to be too critical.
I'm a big Sony fan, but he's right. This might have a bug impact on downloadable purchases made through the Playstation Store. Can Sony afford to lose a large amount of digital sales?
odd article. Sounds more like something that belongs in Eurogamer, Destructoid (Jim Sterling) or anywhere with a more mature, sophisticated audience. Tom's writing doesn't mesh well with Gamespot's style. He could have simply said "Sony is pulling the wool over your eyes", and been done with it.
Nice job, guys. the dropdown menus are great, and everything is laid out so much better -- as well as simpler. Also, glad to see you didn;t abandon the classic starburst "Gamespot" logo. Never change you logo.
Project Cafe needs to be more powerful than the PS3 or XBOX360 -- even if it isn't by much -- if they intend to grab the hardcore gamers back. And the rumors of Rockstar having a development kit confirm it will be at least as powerful as the others. Iam interested in the tablet controller alot. Hope its cool!
Women will always be in the minority of gamers. There is still a bad social stigma for adult/older males who play video games. They are looked at as nerds with no life. With women, it's even worse. And they just generally don't take as much of an interest in video games as men do.
@GRovilis A Luigi's mansion sequel could be great on the 3DS. If they take the time to really mke the ghosts pop out of the screen it could be awesome.
