@F-14-D_TOMCAT I hear that. I shelled out the whopping $600 at launch for my 60 gig PS3, and don't have any intention of getting a slim. Besides, backwards compatibility, card readers and 4 usb slots beats out the Slims size and power usage advantage by a mile. : )
Part of the reason for Nintendos success with handheld gaming was because of their affordable price points. Now they're losing that. I dont think their dominance over Sony and the PSP2 will be as great as the DS was over the PSP -- if at all.
damn, this article is old. Ok, here's my top 5. 1. World of Warcraft (I guess I'd have to cave in and finally try it, and the community would keep me company on the island) 2. Resident Evil 4 (my absolute favorite game ever). 3. Oblivion Elder Scrolls (I hate rpg's, but love this game. Huge and engrossing) 4. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (again, another huge game with tons to do and secrets to find. Rockstars best game ever). 5. Super Mario World (never actually played it, but it's often considered the bes in the series, and there's lots of secrets to fnd and unlock). There you have it. My 4 and half year late Pick 5!
Crysis 2 and RAGE for the consoles. I want to see both those games running on BOTH ps3 and 360 hardware simultaneously to quell any doubt as to how good they will run on the consoles. Also, Medal of Honor and (just maybe!) an announcement of the next Oblivion game. I'm kind of curious as to what the new Zelda game will be like, eve though I'm not a Zelda fan. hehe. Hopefully they make a showcase for tor the Wii.
I'm not a big Mario fan, but I always was interested in this because of the unique look. I love the paper cut out graphics. I think I'll buy it off the Wii virtual arcade. : )
I thought Gamespot wasn't going to be a fanboy site like IGN and Eurogamer and stop these useless graphical comparisons. The console versions look snd perform so close that this comparison is pointless.
