You can always get the AfterGlow Universal Gaming Headset that works on everything from Wii U to PC. You can get it wired for 59.99 and wireless for 89.99 but the ability to use it on everything really is worth the price and the sound and microphone is excellent.

Any game I can play on PS3 and Xbox 360 (except for the exclusives, which I have zero interest in) can be played on my PC better and faster, not to mention I could get it cheaper for a sale on Steam.
Plus the PC's internet is free so long as you have an internet provider, sorry Xbox Live don't want to play $9 a month for internet.
Where else but Nintendo can you play truly great first party exclusives while experiencing something innovative? You know why Sony and Microsoft made Motion Controls? Because they saw the Wii's success and thought it would work for them, it didn't.
I'll bet you $5 that Microsoft is going to see the Wii U's success and make a Surface esc. Gamepad that is going to be broken and not-polished, while Sony is going to make a half-assed gamepad with a gumball on top that can change colors.
Oh and Bayonetta 2.
[QUOTE="AlwaysParagon"]I know that there is a Luigi's Mansion sequel coming out for the 3DS next yearAvatarMan96I was about to say... lol Yeah, I'm just putting in my ten cents about how they could use the Wii U's technology to their advantage.
I know that there is a Luigi's Mansion sequel coming out for the 3DS next year, but I think if Nintendo decided to make a Luigi's Mansion sequel for the Wii U, here is some ideas that could really make it shine and take advantage of the GamePad and the console itself.
1. First Person POV
The original game made the mansion itself look like The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, it was able to blend horror elements and tongue in cheek perfectly and provided a unique gaming experience. However, what could make the sequel stand out would be to have the game take place in a first person perspective like ZombiU. Using the WiiMote you can point your flashlight at ghosts that appear and use the Nunchuck to control the gust of wind from the vaccuum and the GamePad can be introduced as your successor to the GameBoy Horror, called the GhostPad with a few added features. Lifting the GhostPad up to the TV can make it a Thermal Sensor to detect levels of Paranormal Activity or hidden items and keeping it in your lap makes it a Ghost Radar ala Ghost Hunters, whenever a ghost is nearby, the GhostPad will go off, revealing it's location on a radar. The First Person Perspective will also increase the overall tension of the game, making the ghosts popping out in front of you more intense.
2.New Storyline
Living in the shadow of his brother and after the events of Luigi's Mansion, Mario convinced Luigi to open his own Paranormal Investigation Agency and help the Mushroom Kingdom with a paranormal epidemic. Much like the 3DS iteration, you'll go to different locales and face different types of spirits, all the while, getting upgrades for both your GhostPad and your vaccuum.
3.New Elements
You'll also see the return of the elemental effects from Luigi's Mansion as well as some new elements like Lightning, you can aquire lightning by absorbing electricity from electrical objects (just go with it) and with the WiiMote you can point and shoot lightning at a broken fuse to turn on the lights in the room. Eliminating all the ghosts.
That's all I have so far, feel free to chime in any ideas.
It would be cool if they could release Gamecube games on the VC with an option for motion controls, playing Luigi's Mansion and using the WiiMote to move the flashlight would be pretty freakin' cool.
I work at the Washington Square Mall in Oregon at the Best Buy Mobile store, from time to time, I walk by the Wii U Experience they have going on the entire month and the one thing I hear constantly from passerbys is "Is that a handheld gaming system?" because all they see is the GamePad. It makes me laugh but at the same time it makes me sad because it seems to me that Nintendo put a little too much emphasis on the controller as opposed to the system.
When the Wii U was announced in E3 2011, I myself was confused because they only showed the controller and not the actual system. The twitterverse blew up over whether or not it was a handheld gaming system or an actual console, Reggie later confirmed that there is a console included by still, that's something I think of everytime I hear a passerby.
To me, the idea of having two screens was a bit overwhelming at first, but now that I've experienced it for myself, I can't go back to my Xbox 360 because I want to be able to play my game when the TV is turned off, or talk to my friends on the GamePad whenever I want to. Ultimately, the controller makes the console, but at the same time, that ideology is giving people the wrong idea about the system.
Nintendo needs to find a way to advertise and spread awareness about what it truly is all about, it's not a handheld, it's not a Wii with a high tech peripheral, it's a Wii U, a next-gen console. It's the best console I've played at launch in a very long time, it's something that needs to be recognized because it truly is innovative and something that the other guys are going to have to compete against.
What could Nintendo bring to the table to make more of it's consumers understand what the console actually is?
