This is the same reviewer that gave Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon a 6.5... In fact, all of her reviews relating to Nintendo are between 6.5 - 7.5. So yeah, not trusting this.

@hrst1 Simple, because the basic bundle wasn't selling. The deluxe bundle sells more and is harder to find, therefore they should focus their efforts on making that their initial bundle.

The Deluxe Bundle is a better deal because you get a free game out of it, along with the Digital Download Rebate and the extra accessories that you don't get with the 8GB.

This is not a bad sign at all.

@sextourist @elunesgraces I think it's too early to call as far as whether or not the Wii U will succeed or fail, but the fact that it's still early is something that Nintendo still has an advantage of, they have until the Holiday season to start the fluctuation of exclusives, restructure their marketing and/or ultimately, doing anything by any means necessary to make an upturn.

@elunesgraces That's because I'm the owner of a Wii U myself as well as a 3DS, the last thing I want is for a good company like Nintendo to falter because of something that could've been prevented. I want the Wii U to succeed, I know that giving my ten cents won't really help, but anything is better than nothing.

Nintendo needs to start over with their marketing strategy with the Wii U. They need to get three key points established:

1. It's not an add-on to the original Wii.

This is crucial for Nintendo and one of the big reasons as to why it's not selling. People are simply confused by the machine, they don't know what to think of it. They don't know if it's an add-on, an upgrade, if the Gamepad is the console etc. This is NOT okay, this is something that should be fixed immediately and I don't mean by having kids emphasizing that it's new, I mean literally getting up into people's faces and telling them point blank, this is a new console, period.

2. Miiverse.

Miiverse is one of the biggest and best features of the console and with the entire world embracing Twitter and Facebook, this should be marketed heavily. Being able to draw pictures, take screenshots in game and sharing it with your friends, a community for each game release etc. This needs to be shown, this is a truly next-gen feature and something that the other companies are racing to copy. Nintendo needs to target the social network demographic and give them a reason as to why they should buy a Wii U. Making Miiverse online and available on smartphones is a good start, but it's not enough.

3. What the console can do.

I'm surprised this hasn't been established already. For one thing, we are not given or told any idea as to what the system is, what it can do, etc. We are just shown somebody with a GamePad playing the game itself. By not showing the console, by not listing the features and everything that is capable of, you're not advertising the console at all, you're simply advertising the GamePad, which is what the Wii U is, but it's not what you should be focusing on. Enough with the smoke and mirrors Nintendo, people need to be directly told what it is, if you need to, go the car commercial route, showing the console and listing everything it can do along with the price. Whatever it takes to spread the word and get it out there.

Yeah, this review is a load of garbage. It should be an 8 or 8.5 at least. The multiplayer adds a lot of longetivity to the game, as well as finding every single secret the game is hiding. 6.5 my ass.
