R.E. Code Veronica. WOW did I hate that game!!!garey017

I know what you mean. I loved RE 2 and 3 but after getting about halfway through Code Veronica I lost all interest and just stopped dead (no pun intended). I think the flaws from previous games had reached the point of being unforgivable.

I would like to add a game that I always say in these type of questions: Super Smash Bros Melee, I just didn't get it at all.

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. When I thought I lost it, I bought the pc version when I saw it in store. Then one day my friend returned my xbox copy. BloudyHell

Me too. Such a quality title and a real 10/10 for me. I even wrote a blog about it. I heard there was going to be a 360 remake so hopefully a few more people will get to enjoy it.

Conker: Live and ReloadedSuperAgentZero

This is a close second for me and a game that actually made me laugh. I love the start when he is all hungover and just shambles along. Really clever. I never got to play it multiplayer though. :(

These may be a bit obvious but for me the classics are probably:

Mario Kart
Super Mario World
Bomberman
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Street Fighter II

a shooter rpg like stalker mixed with oblivion set in the american west of the 1800s

razorsedge678

That would be great with different factions like native americans, landowners or rail barons. One day somebody will make a brilliant western game.

Edit: Also, a half decent Ghost in the Shell game would be fantastic. You could have a great single-player campaign with all kinds of conspiracies and authentic cut scenes and a multiplayer online system like counter-strike. For me, this would be pure gaming bliss.

It makes sense you would do better with the sound on as the rhythm is there to keep you on track. Without the sound you have to work harder at keeping in time which would affect your concentration. I wonder if there's a difference between your version and this version?

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was fantastic. I thoroughly recommend it. I am currently playing through Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth and that is also good. Maybe they didn't sell due to their long and unpronounceable titles.

Edit: Jet Set Radio Future is pretty good too

I got pretty frustrated and gave up. There's just too much trial and error for my liking. I get the impression you are in for more of the same so my advice would be to knock it on the head and go for something else like Project Zero.

Black had some pretty good moments especially all the explosions and hazy effects.

Great article! Battletoads was an absolute killer. The only way to get past those walls was to memorise the entire sequence which took an agonising amount of trial and error. I made it to the last level once and was so proud.

I had completely forgotten about that. I must have completed the demo about 10 times. Anyone think a next-gen remake would be a good idea?
