Create your own video game

This is where we can think of our own video games I have an idea for one:

The Legend of Zelda (2009):

It's a remake of the first Legnd of Zelda game for the NES it uses the graphics from Phantom Hourglass and includes voice acting and is on the Nintendo DS.

What are your ideas for Video Games?

Paper Mario 3: Some sort of paper-pun. Very similar to PM2, but with more of a "Mario" feel to it, like the original. New paper-inspired powers such as crumpling into a ball (to replace "tube" Mario), etc.

a shooter rpg like stalker mixed with oblivion set in the american west of the 1800s and one set in Vietnam.

think about it, they could be absolutely fantastic if done right

I've been in Game dev for about two years now. A game that really inspired me was Mass Effect. The story and lore for the game was brilliant. I truly believe Story/Lore in a game it one of the most important features in one.

I've actually come up with quite a few game ideas. They vary from ORPG, RPG, FPS, and RTS. I am capable of making games for PC, but it takes a lot of work and I'd rather stick with smaller things for now.

A game I've been working on for two years is called Valhalla's Gate: Kingdoms, it is based on Roman/Greek Mythology. I don't want to spam this post with everything about the game but there you go :).

I tried the 30-day free trial. It doesn't have everything. Even in the demo I could see all the other things you can do and wasn't to impressed. Theres addons though which I hadn't tried.

That would be great with different factions like native americans, landowners or rail barons. One day somebody will make a brilliant western game.

Edit: Also, a half decent Ghost in the Shell game would be fantastic. You could have a great single-player campaign with all kinds of conspiracies and authentic cut scenes and a multiplayer online system like counter-strike. For me, this would be pure gaming bliss.

Hmm, I'd love a Silent Hill game with no combat, just really strong plot and puzzle elements. Looks like the new Penumbra game or Lost Via Domus might attempt to pull this off.

Lately I've been thinking of something like a team or squad-based Resident Evil.

You could choose STARS, Umbrella, or Civilians for the main scenarios, but you could unlock a Freeplay option to replay any groups scenario . In the main game you can only use those related to the current group (STARS = STARS), but in Freeplay you can make a squad of any characters.

I would have the main (and secondary) characters From other RE's as unlockables like Leon, Chris, Claire, Ada, Jill, Hunk, Wesker, Luis, and Ashley. I would also be tempted to have playable versions of a Licker, a Tyrant, a Hunter, and Nemesis.
