This article is really good. So ridiculously accurate too. I remember all of those games driving me bat-#$%& loco when I was a kid. Just imagine how many controllers found themselves hurtling through the air because of these games. It boggles the mind.

My siblings and i never did manage to finish the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. We would always atleast get to the part where you drive around in the van, but i don't remember us getting much farther after that.

Oh i hated the underwater level in Ninja turtles and i think the 5th stage or 6th i don't remember for certain of Ninja gaiden is very near to impossible.

Great article! Battletoads was an absolute killer. The only way to get past those walls was to memorise the entire sequence which took an agonising amount of trial and error. I made it to the last level once and was so proud.

hahahahaha, some of those games were irritatingly difficult, but back in the day games were tougher on average so you got used to it. nowadays games are too easy. i beat both ninja gaiden and ninja turtles.

maybe it was because i was just a little kid, but i found revenge of shinobi on the sega genesis to be hard.

I've beaten all of those except Friday the 13th and Solomon's Key. Those two I've never played.

Those games are considered easy comparied to Monty on the run if you can finish that you are some sort of gaming guru god.

gta san andreas should have been in there lol . that game is impossible for those who do not have a guide book like i have even then it is misprinted

The only game IMO that shouldn't have been on the list was Mega Man. The jumping parts are a breeze if you get the platform gun from Elec Man's stage.

one game that should have been on this list was Wizards and Warriors III. It has some really nasty platforming especially the Wizard stages and on top of there are no continues
