Nice one. I can't wait to have a look at all those retro mags. I've probably got a few in my loft somewhere and as for Gamecakes. Inspired!

It's got to be Jinpachi in Tekken 5. I am sure there are a lot of hardcore players who will say he was easy but I found him to be so cheap. Even thinking about him makes me feel annoyed!

I agree with Oldboy and Memento.

I think Arlington Road had the most unexpected ending I have ever seen. Genius.

I thought the bit in MGS2 when Raiden was felt up by the president was pretty embarrassing. Hideo Kojima has one weird sense of humour!

The Rectal Probe from Destroy all Humans. Is it wrong that I laughed every time I used it?

Pirates of the Caribbean. I just couldn't see why everybody was so crazy about it. Also, the new Star Wars films were a bit of a letdown especially Attack of the Clones. The acting made me want to cry and not in a good way.

Depends on the person, you'll find out when you get there. Just try your best to do what you think would be fun that they would offer and it should be a good trip :)double_decker

I agree 100%. I lived in Tokyo for two years and absolutely loved it. I would suggest splashing out on a good guide book (I really like the Lonely Planet series) and just going for it. I am assuming it's a holiday so I recommend the Hato Bus Tours from Tokyo station. They take you all over. Personally, a ride over Rainbow Bridge to Odaiba at sunset is one of my all time favourite things. I am so jealous.

As far as video game and anime stuff goes it is actually a bit disappointing unless you can read Japanese really well so I would probably put that to the back of your mind. Although sometimes the visuals are all you need.....

@ XileLord - I don't agree at all, be sure not to make the mistake that all of Japan is like Tokyo as that's like saying that all of Canada is just like Toronto and covered in snow. Japan is extremely safe and the cost of living in Tokyo is comparable to many European cities. In my experience, cost of property aside, you can live there for relatively cheaply. As for learning the language, I won't go on....
