Without Pronger, the Flyers look like a completely different team. Their PK and PP take a hit and there isn't another defenseman that can eat up 27-30 minutes a night, and there isn't that leadership on the ice. I know Richards is wearing the C but he's a true leader out there.

Good win today for Canada. Came at a big price though, one returning player, Calvin De Hann of the Oshawa Generals, has a lower body injury, and Zack Kassian, who has a history of being a dirty player -he was suspended 20 games for a head-hunting hit in January, and was arrested at a bar in Windsor in June- was assessed an automatic 1 game suspension for a hit to the head.

I don't know what Kassian was thinking there...Senkerik didn't even have the puck and Kassian came in and DESTROYED him. I hope you can fix stupid because I know he could be a good player for the Sabres in a couple years as long as he cleans up his play. USA skates past Slovakia 6-1 and outshot them 57-18. Kyle Palmieri has 2 goals and an assist. Emerson Etem scored and was booed by the USA crowd for his unnessesary twitter diss about Buffalo being a ghost town.

I don't know what he was doing either. They were up six or seven to one, and he does that. Now he's out 2 games. And Jaden Schwartz is out indefinitely. And I don't think you can bring another player in, rosters are set. I'm going to the Canada-Sweeden game Friday and there will be no Kassian, maybe no Schwartz, or the one I would of loved to see, Gabriel Landeskog of the Kitchener Rangers. He could be out for weeks with a high ankle sprain:(

Olivier Roy was and has been awful, I was surprised when they named him the started for today:evil: I knew it'd be a tough game, I thought that yesterday. I ignored the pre-tounament, and thought it'd be a goaltending battle. Boy was I wrong. Now we goota take the long way. Hope Visentin is up to it, I hope we don't see Roy again.

Yeah I doubt he'll see anymore action unless Visentin goes down or wets the bed.

They have been playing much better. Although the Islanders just own the Wings. Wings haven't beaten them since 2007. An prior to last night they were outscored 12-0.

Of all teams to own the Red Wings... Crazy game between Buffalo and Boston: 7-6 Buffalo winning in the SO.

Leafs win 5-1 over Ottawa:shock: Bozak had two goals and had rookie James Reimer making his NHL debut in net.

I wonder what we do with Gustavsson after this year..I know they locked him up for 2 years but honestly..he hasn't looked that great even though our team isn't that good. In the last two games, he hasn't been able to hold the tie late in the 3rd period after we come back to tie it multiple times. Rynnas and Reimer have been great in the AHL and Reimer has looked better than the goaltending we've gotten in the last couple weeks, even if it has been only 3 apperences, 1 start. We have a lot of goalies.

Tampa acquires Roloson from the Islanders for Ty Wishart.

Eberle injures ankle, no news on severity.

Yah same with the Avs, we are so streaky, plus the Nucks won't let up. Anderson isn't playing that great (or last year was a fluke) and I think we need to invest in a solid defensive d-man.

Gold medal game tonight! Canada should win, we already beat them. But both teams have different goalies, so we'll see. Russia's combackmagic has to run out sometime.

Anyone else surprised the Flyers put Leighton on waivers? He appears to be the 3rd man based on how well Boucher and Bob are playing. Although he only played one game, he looked pretty badand apparently he isn't fully recovered from back surgery, he still has numbness in his feet even during games. I think it's unfair to do this so soon after his return, this is what the cap does.

I have a feeling this is going to come back and hurt Philly, most of their goalie decicionshave in the last 7-8 years.Bob or Boucher isgoing to get hurt, they're going to have to call him up andteam will pick him up for half of his $3.1 million down the stretch.

Yea i seen the score after 1 5 goals in 1 period, damn! Crosby only got 1 point though Canada and Russia is what im watching right now, then the Canucks game!

Yah I was surprised to see Crosby didn't have a hat trick or something. Bad debut for Roloson.

Not his debut. Had a 1-0 shutout last night over the Cap, 31 saves. Canada can't be stopped. Schenn and Ellis are everywhere out there.

Yep. He's back in there in the second, after Ellis replaced him after3 goals.

1 more point to break the tournament record for a Canadian and to get sole possession of 2nd for all-time points. He's tied with Eberle. And he might be playing with a separated shoulder.

What the heck just happened?! 2 goals in 11 seconds. Russia's done this 3 straight games

[QUOTE="Mkavanaugh77"]Wow how bout them Canucks eh? 8th straight win in a row 17-1-2 in 20 games! #1 in the NHL right now Their team looks like the perfect team right now. They got the superstars like the Sedins, Kesler, Luongo. But they also have so many others who chip in on all 4 lines. Im very happy with how they are playing right now.

I asked if the Leafs gave team Canada a pep talk. And what do they do the night after the Gold medal game? Blow a 3 goal lead with 14 minutes left in the third:lol: But they won...and ran over Atlanta 9-3 lastnight:shock: 15 goals in 2 games? I don't think they've scored that many in the last 2-3 weeks combined.
