It's about time Kessel scored against his old team. The whole ACC was chearing when Seguin scored, and was quiet when Kessel came up:P

I loved that goal. I don't think it was unsportsmanlike or anything. It was a kid bringing something fans hadn't seen before.

:lol: No, that wasn't me, I don't go to games, way to expensive. It's tough watching them play so bad against the Pens and Flyers, but then maybe play their best game in a long time last night.

:lol:Islanders win their second in 22 games. And it was infront of 7600 or so fans. And Atlanta is only getting about 11,000 fans on average, and the Islanders about 10,000. Sorry Winnipeg and Quebec City and Hamilton and Kitchener-Waterloo (be pretty cool to have a team 30 minutes away from my house:P)

Atalnta looks dangerous. Those off season moves, esspecially Byfuglien, are really paying off. Pavelec has been fantasic for them, and Bergfors- he came over for Kovalchuk- has played way better than him. Caps look really bad. The had a chance to end this a couple weeks ago against Toronto when they only lost 2 game in a row, but they blew a 3 goal lead and haven't looked good since.

Dang, the Rangers crush the Islanders 7-2. Can things get worse for the Isles? Holy cow. Chris Osgood gets his 400th win! Good for him, considering the Red Wings fans can be tough on him. Anyone following the IIHF Junior Tournament in Buffalo? Big win for Team USA over Finland in OT!Los9090

Well, the Islanders had won 3 in a row. Things could get worse...Roloson or Tavares could get hurt and be out long term:P

I'm following the Tournament, I always do. Canada is the underdog, USA the favorite...neither team looked great in the first game, but they both got it done. But the USA gamewas a little too close for comfort, Finland is not a good team:P

Some big injuries though during that game, Jeremy Morin and Brock Nelson both have significantinjuries. They're both amazing players and it will hurt USA's chances.

Without Pronger, the Flyers look like a completely different team. Their PK and PP take a hit and there isn't another defenseman that can eat up 27-30 minutes a night, and there isn't that leadership on the ice. I know Richards is wearing the C but he's a true leader out there.

Good win today for Canada. Came at a big price though, one returning player, Calvin De Hann of the Oshawa Generals, has a lower body injury, and Zack Kassian, who has a history of being a dirty player -he was suspended 20 games for a head-hunting hit in January, and was arrested at a bar in Windsor in June- was assessed an automatic 1 game suspension for a hit to the head.
