The main thing the wii has done for me is to remind me how much fun a game should be. I have other consolles for more graphic intense stuff. But I had lost sight of why I play in the first place. It wasn't just the wii that did this but it in combination with the DS and other things.
I thoght that same thing until I got the PS3 and had to look at it everyday whi;e I was doing something else. Since I sounds like you wont be spending your own money...no still not a good idea.
I was really excited when I first heard about this as I thought they would at least put a different drive in it. But its really just another option for customers to get. I might get the bigger HD but I still have 12.2 left on this one. With that being said I really don't understand why every other thread on the board is about this or Sony winning. With all the other stuff that could be discussed nothing else is being talked about. It just makes people appear worried instead of confident. There is more that someone could say but its better left unsaid.
I think the main part that hurts Sony is the customer who has neither system and once these multi plat games begin to hit shelves. Or the customers who was waiting for more games to be released for PS3. Any customer who is in the store for the game is not going to pay 700 to GTA 4 or Assassins Creed or DMC. If they have any type of monetary responsibility anywhere else in their life. That customer will look at the least expensive option first and if that is not what they want they will just not buy at all. The casual gamer does not follow a game from the time its announced, they usually just walk in one day and see it.
I still have to beat Aries in GoW1 but it felt like the first game to me. I liked what I played and I have had it reserved for a few months now. The demo will not change my purchase but I hope its not a rehash.
