Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, it's the game I've played the most, with all of the different modes it offers, from different difficulties from being able to use many diferent characters, and of course the main game with Johnathan is very fun. Dawn of Sorrow is also very good, there was just more to do in PoR.
I would say New Suoer Mario Bros is the best game on the DS right now.macrules_640
Why? Is it the fact it can be beaten in an afternoon, or that it's very very easy, or that it didn't bring anything to the Mario universe? Yoshi's Island is a much better platformer.
For the topic, I don't know which one is the best..obviously it's up to personal taste, which makes these topics completely and utterly pointless.
Please try posting in and reading the recommendation forum. This isn't much more than a list of games, but the recommendation thread includes reasons why.
