@Hiraishin I don't think Kevin is a bad guy, I respect his reviews, although this one is a review I would say lacks objectivity and a fair rating (more so than other reviews of his in the past).
Worst review I've seen in a along time, "too difficult", "not fast enough", "poor level design", "poor graphics and design", what game did you play? I don't think you even played the game. GS has dropped off with their quality of reviews, and this is a perfect example.
I've had more fun with the Wii U than any console in recent memory - going way back to before PC's became popular. Playing Call of Duty on the gamepad has been outstanding, and one of the best experienced I've had gaming. The gamepad is best idea of any console idea, and in the end I still think people will appreciate it, once they get their hands on it.
"wouldn't require an always online connection", Blizzard has already made more of an effort to please console gamers than they did for pc gamers. The game will be better. What I never cared about D3 (besides the RMAH) was the graphics engine. If they were to change that engine and just make the graphics realistic looking, than the game would be way better.
Consoles are dead, and in this next generation they will be buried for good. There is nothing they bring to the table that a computer cannot do better.
RMAH = Fail. The game was based off the RMAH and therefore turned into a joke. Blizzard was too worried about how easy items would be to find, because it would cost them money. Also... Graphics, and Graphics Engine = Crap. The graphics just don't do it for me. They are just painted crap. Look decent at first glance, but as you play it just gets old to look at. Should've just went detailed with the game and introduced a game that pushed technical limits instead of trying to allow every single person to play it from day one.
Story = Crap. I mean seriously? Who wrote this story? You might as well not even included any type of story at all. Diablo 2 story was way better. This story was WOW'ed.
Diablo 3 = WOW'ed. The dumbed down game mechanics are evident here across the board. We don't want people to be not satisfied with their character so we won't have skill points or do anything that made Diablo 2 fun. Every character is same, and its brilliant when consider Blizzard's RMAH is the only way you can possibly be different (with gear involved).
Diablo 3 = biggest let down of all time. Hands down.
