@Xristophoros: It's a hack and slash loot game. So if you don't like those types of games... you might not like this one. But, some of strengths of D3 are the characters, and different skills to choose from. In D2 the atmosphere was much more enjoyable (when it was made around 2000), because it had that gothic - creepy feel. That is what disappointed people who loved Diablo 2, about Diablo 3. Diablo 3's graphics are more color, vibrant, and cartoonish. Some areas look look better than others though.
But, Diablo 3 has a lot of different interesting characters and skills to choose from that can make the grind interesting. On the switch the game is perfect, and for me I've purchased this game 7 times (no DLC purchases made though, all in package deals). Even though, it's less than perfect, especially from when Diablo 2 was released back 2000. It's still a solid title. Definetely worth checking out if you have any interest in loot grinding, and character building.
@DrewFMbassist: Pharah easy countered by anyone that has decent range on their shots. Bastion is effective in certain situations, but overall easily countered. Torb is getting nerfed for ps4 and xbox. He could likely see a slight nerf on pc in the future.
@jgganeto: Any game that doesn't add content will get boring over time. Blizzard has a great track record for supporting their games for along time, and their population will go up and down based on content available. Blizzard knows this. They know that more content = more money (more people buying the game, and loot boxes).
The loot system, I agree they need to do more. I am sure they will come up with more ideas. In the end though, we're still talking about cosmetic items for progression. That's the way it's always going to be. I think they need to add more to what they have available, and I am sure they're working on that so they can make more money. Blizzard knows how to make money, so I wouldn't worry about content not being available for this game. It may not however, come out fast enough for some folks who're playing 5 plus hours a day. :)
@Mirimon78: I don't necessarily see people running away from the objective. It's more not being aware of what the team needs. You get a sniper who is a bad sniper, and the person refuses to play another hero they might be better at. There is plenty of room for more good tracer type of hero's for the back lines. Those type of lone wolf players are welcome (if they're good at they're role).
@DJChumsy: The gameplay is awesome. There are abilities which are powerful, and there are defensive abilities which are powerful. Overall, the game is extremely balanced.
@RoachRush: Fair or not, I think a lot of reviewers are projecting in the future - with Blizzard being the company they are trusting. I agree also, I don't think this game is really a 9 or above without more content. Although, it's hard to argue over the score of the game when you put so many hours into it.
@grbolivar: Battlefront is crap compared to Overwatch. That is why. The gameplay for SW was super basic. The graphics were the only thing that kept people interested, for the most part. If SW wouldn't have been Star Wars and just some random dudes, it wouldn't been rated a 4 or max a 5.
Awesome game. Highly recommend for people who want a competitive game to play. The heroes are amazing in the way they're balanced, different, and fun to play.
