For party members, my picks are Garrus (who amazingly went from my least favorite in ME1 to my favorite in ME2), Mordin, and Grunt.

Outside of the party Joker has no competition.

I honestly don't care how much the games cost. If it is something I want I'll either justify paying the price or not. The last PC game I bought over 55 was WCIII when it released at MSRP $55, and for me that extra $5 didn't keep me from buying the game due to some terrible hatred for Blizzard having bumped up their price point.

Considering he's projected to be a second round pick, I think it's pretty hard to say he isn't receiving serious consideration. He will probably be the third if not second QB taken in the draft due to his raw physical ability and work ethic.

Most people probably still prefer physical copies given the option, but I believe game developers eventually won't even give you the option. Either you buy the digital copy or you don't play the game. The ability to bypass retailers and save money on packaging and shipping will be too much of an incentive for them not to do so.
