What 3 characters on Mass Effect2 are your favorite?
For me its definatly Tali, Thane and the medic (Mordin was it?) :P
As far as the NPCs that you cant bring to battle I liked Kelly.
Legion was also awesome but I didnt get to use him enough really.

EDI is betterFor party members, my picks are Garrus (who amazingly went from my least favorite in ME1 to my favorite in ME2), Mordin, and Grunt.
Outside of the party Joker has no competition.

1 Tali - its nice that bioware at last made her a person from walking quarian encyclopedia. For me she is the most well made character with most interesting personality (maybe thats why i always romance her... cant stand Miranda and Jack) .
2 Garrus - "definitely like old time" , and that conversation that Tali and Garrus has is hilarious ( they are talking about chatting in the elevator in ME1).
3 Thb i cant select any one from whats left . Everyone is pretty much equal apart from Miranda and Jack ( which i hate most) , but if i had to say - Legion.
Jack, she is everything I like in a woman. Lithe, athletic, smart, strong, capable...and a little disturbed. I like my women to be asskickers, though. She also has one of the more interesting histories in the game. I also love tatoos and short hair...bald is a bit much but, like Natalie Portman, Jack somehow pulls it off.
Garrus; its great seeing his transformation. He went from naive C-Sec officer to badass, take-no-prisoners vigilante. His heart is still good, though, and he is loyal.
Thane; despite his profession as an assassin, he is just a downright great guy. Nice, polite, loyal, and spiritual. You just cant help but love the guy despite the fact he is a green lizardman assassin lol. He is also one of the more interesting people to talk to. Oh, and biotics and sniper....'nuff said.

how did you do the romance? is it male only? Ive only played as female so far, and on both playthroughs I didnt exactly like any of the males enough. Can Tali be a same-sex romance? Or will I have to settle for Thane or Samara?

Yep , as he said - only for male . Anyway , its very fun to see tali confused (i always liked how Liara in ME1 was) , so if you play as male i recomend to try Tali :P

hmmm ive always wanted to see what is under the mask of a quarian lol.
knowing Bioware, they dont show you I bet
Tali, Jack, and... I dunno--Grunt, Legion, Mordin? I can't decide. Mass Effect really needs a loli girl... or at least a teenage girl. Yes, a mysterious teenage girl would have filled my third-favorite spot quite nicely. Bioware, please put a River in the next game.jedinat
I thught that was Jack
she is obviously very young, I'd say early 20s.
but I a gree, some innocent teenager thats a total asskicker in disguise would be pretty cool.

Ehh, Jack is a slut. And the personality is obviously off. I was thinking someone along the lines of Mission from KotOR, but less whiny. Someone obviously young. I had a slight, brief hope that Miranda's little sister was going to be a character.[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"][QUOTE="jedinat"]Tali, Jack, and... I dunno--Grunt, Legion, Mordin? I can't decide. and yea, Miranda's sister definately could work. I mean, she was engineered too. And she looks up to Miranda. Maybe in ME3 we find out she followed in Miranda's footsteps, eh? That'd be cool.

1. Liara - It's nice to know she loves me too.
2. Thane - Conflicted assassin, dying... tragic hero.
3. Legion - Extremely intriguing.

Probably, it's the reason for my concerns about the possible ending of ME 3.The Reapers are extremely powerful and I doubt that even an alliance between humans, Krogans, Quarians, Asari, Geth, etc would be able to defeat them, I just hope the ending won't be lame, like Reapers having a central ship that controls the others, they overload the system/upload a virus and they fall, or they just send a virus on one ship while the whole galaxy fends off the other Reapers then they transmit the virus to all the other Reapers.
Hopefully it'll be more awesome :/.

Yea, that ending would suck. Even ending where reapers win would be better (actually this would be interesting ending ) .
- Tali, of course.:P
- Legion,
- Grunt or Thane, either/or.
Joker & EDI is up there as well.
