I just want a Metroid made by Retro Studios, is that too much to ask? From might be interesting, but aren't later Dark Souls games less Metroid-y in structure?
Most games back then weren't very well mulithreaded, so the PS4's low clocked octocore might have some trouble. The ~HD 7850 in the PS4 would eat an HD 4870 or 9800 GTX alive though.
That GT 740 won't do you much good, even higher end 700 series cards have a pretty bad time these days.
This + R5 1400 ($169) or R5 1500x ($189) CPU. They aren't out until next month, so I can't add them on PCPartPicker at the moment. 1500X is a bit faster out of the box and comes with a better cooler.
Why not a BMW? They're the best handling and driving cars of them all.
I've had my E46 M3 from new in 2004 and it's still as tight today as it was then and will still put most current cars to shame in real world driving situations.
These days, that would be Cadillac. We're really living in bizarro world.
