@ttlockerroom: I've been looking at the MG279Q, the AMD Freesync version of the PG279Q, and it supposedly has a ton of quality control problems (dead pixels, excessive backlight bleed, etc.), so you might want to stay away from that one. Not sure if Asus' QC is better on the ultrawide. The Samsung is Freesync, so you wouldn't be able to take advantage of it with your Nvidia GPU, although, unlike G-Sync, Freesync doesn't really add anything to the price so it's not the end of the world.

From a pure image quality standpoint, disregarding adaptive sync and high refresh rates, Dell UltraSharp monitors are really nice.

Definitely not TN. IPS vs. VA could go either way, depending on which panels you're comparing. For a 1080 you should be looking at 2560x1440, 3440x1440, or 3840x2160 monitors. You should also consider >60Hz refresh rates and G-Sync.

Wait for Zen 2. Current Ryzen is on a 14nm process designed for low power usage (phones), which is why it doesn't clock very high and uses a ton of power near its clock limits. Zen 2 will use the new 7nm process from GloFo, IBM, and Samsung, reportedly capable of 5GHz. Or don't wait, current AM4 motherboards should be compatible with it so you could just upgrade later.

I gave them both 10s, and they're both among my favorite games of the decade, but I've got to give this one to Zelda. It handled exploration so much better than TW3. The world is designed in a way that it can be easily navigated without a minimap thanks to visual landmarks and pinning. In Zelda you can usually see way off into the distance to orient yourself, in TW3 there are usually things in the way. Getting around in the Witcher with the hud turned off is a pain and you'll find yourself pulling up the full map much more frequently than in Zelda. TW3's endless question marks on the map are another issue, and yes they can be turned off, but so can Skyrim's quest markers. The game really isn't designed with doing that in mind. Organic methods of navigation, like Morrowind's extensive signposts and NPC directions, make for a much more enjoyable open world exploration experience than quest markers.

My PC has a better CPU, GPU, and more memory. VRAM (HBM) is faster. System RAM (DDR3) is slower.

Absolutely. Flashing the Metroid Prime 4 logo is equivalent to flashing the Half-Life 3 logo. Sony was very disappointing, Bethesda was horrible. Microsoft was surprisingly good though.

I grilled some burgers a week or so ago. I had chicken and fries the other day. Not sure the last time I had a burger and fries though.
