I had expected to be purchasing the xbox one this xmas based on my great experience with the 360. Instead I have been turned off completely by M$ arrogance and bullshit policies. I just pre-ordered a PS4. **** you M$, you can offer me all the exclusive games and map packs you want but I am not giving you another cent until you remove your arrogant head from you arse.
As a loyal Xbox fan, I enjoyed a wonderful 12 year relationship full of great games and a reliable xbox live service. I was proud to be your customer. There were some rocky patches, like my 2 red ring consoles and the ever increasing focus on Kinect and the casual audience. However, I can look past this and remember the 360 and xbox classic fondly.
However today I met someone else. I wont mention its name but I think you know who I am talking about. Microsoft you have changed and it is not for the best. You have become controlling, wont let me share with my friends and you insist on calling me every 24 hours to check on what I am doing. I feel this relationship can no longer work and thus I am breaking up with you. Please don't try and Skype call me because my xbox live will be disconnected.
@Falcon084 @sconradp To their credit the fixed it every time (even out of warranty) but it was frustrating. I have bought the console twice in total. It is a shame to switch sides but they have given no option. I wont buy into always online DRM for my console. I just wont.
