The problem is that they would need a system that tracks which games and for how long these games are played inorder to spread the profit over the different developers. I don't know if such a system is possible and how much it would take from the server but even if it works then developers still have to agree. On top of that 10 -15 dollars is cheap to play every game unlimited so I doubt it would work unless it has a much higher price which will turn away most gamers. The current system probably works bes for the current pricing of arcade games (which I think it far too high).

TC,

Being a 360 gamer and a PS3 gamer is almost the same. Graphicwise they are almost the same, when GeOW was released 360 was a little better and with KZ2 PS3 is a little better but Alan Wake or some unannounced exclusive could bring the 360 back on top. If you really want to switch consoles for the 7of 8 exclusives that the PS3 and you want then that´s your decision. But your basicly switching a white football for a black one. Nothing really changes, at first you might like it better but after a few weeks you won't notice the differce.

On top of that your switching because of the exclusives, that would mean you already played through all the 360 exclusives which is beyond sick. At such a rate you woudl be done with the PS3's exclusives in Januari 2010. I know that you must be a ardcore gamer to go through so many games and that a empty ear like 2009 might hurt you a lot but just hold on. Instead fo wasting 300 dollars go get some games you missed, maybe Bully, Overlord, Dead Rising, etc I dont know but you can´t possibly have played them all.

I'm getting Sacred 2 as soon as it's out. Birdview hack 'N slash games aren't usually my thing but co-op alone made Baldur's Gate:DA great so imagine what it can do for an openworld RPG. It should be a lot of fun to play such a game on a tv while relaxing on a couch.

IMO GTA4 was the best in the series, longer then every other except GTA:SA but just as much fun and storywise a lot better. My favorite setting however was that of GTA:VC so for me the perfect GTA game hasn't been made yet. But GTA4 isn't lesser to any other game in the serie, certainly not in length because it took me 45 hours to beat it and I finished GTA3 and GTA:VC before that. Maybe some of you weren't just as skilled as you are now in gaming, on top of that GTA3 had you replaying way too much if you did die. No wonder it might have taking you longer to beat it.

Fallout: New Vegas is not Fallout 4, merely just a spin-off with similar gameplay mechanics.-Phaz-

These games take a while to make and Bethesda can't do TES5 and FO4 at the same time. If they were to release the next Elder Scrols in say 2011 then FO4 wouldn't come out till 2015 and the nest Elder Scrolls wouldn't see gold until 2019. That's too long for a franchise so I think that's why they let Obsidian now do the Fallout games. So if New Vegas isn't FO4 then I doubt anything will be, it's just save to call it New Vegas because if it does fail then they can act as if it was a spin-off. But if it does work then I think they'll keep the number out of the franchise, until ofcourse it's time to act as if all those games were indeed spin-offs and announce the true FO4. But a game with the size of FO3 with the same features and some extras might just aswell be FO4.

I still have the official UK xbox magazine about how the 360 stands for being in the centre of the experience. It even has a nice picture of multiplible circles with a plyer in each being connected to represent Xbox live.

As for the next xbox, 720 won't do but Xbox 1080 could work. It sounds nice ''xbox.. 10.. 80..'' and withsome nice marketing it would also make sense. ''360°is a flat circle but 1080° brings the xbox into the next dimension!'' (or something like that)

Mass Effect is a must play game for anyone with decent attention span, unfortunatly that alienates a good chunk of the360 owners. Some find it difficult to watch a movie and play a game at the same time. But that's what Mass Effect is, the action and the conversations are interactible. So if your one of those people who skips through the conversations to only see the action in the movies then this isn't your game. Otherwiseyou have to atleast try it.

Since you named some games that also got a PC version later on I say that Mass Effect certainly deserves a spot in the top 10.

I'm sure they will announce a new exclusive but I doubt I would care about it anyway. these days I only play a few games and therefor only games from mt favorite genre: RPG. It's a rather shallow market so I already know which games I'll be getting this generation. As for the E3 I doubt Microsoft will blow us away but since the expectations are so low they might actually get a lot of attention if they do show something new.
