Backward compatible I used to have a small list of games I wanted to have BC but by now all the games I want to have backward compatible are backward compatible. That means: TES3:Morrowind, KOTOR1, KOTOT3, Jade Empire, GTA:VC andShenmue II.

I loved GTA4 from start to finish, but I have to admit for a perfect game the ending wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the game but still beter then most games. For em it wasn't just the story but also the controls and physics that made the game 10/10. After finishing GTA4 I got Sr2 and I hated every minute of it, it wasn't nearly as good looking as the first, it wasn't nearly as fun to play and it also played like ****. I consider it a unplayable game after you've experienced GTA4.

I wouldnt get MS points right away, it would make it hard to resist buying DLC for the games you own right away. DLC is expensive and you should only buy it for games you really love. So I would just buy some cheap full games first, just look in top 10, top 20 or top 30 lists of must buy 360 games, a lot of them are half price by now. And after your done with playing all the games you love (possibly by 2011 or 2012) you can start looking at DLC and expanding your favorite games.

i cant believe how much hate this game is getting already.... i believe there was one picture on that link. just because the game doesnt look like GoW or CoD or even Halo it must suck huh? well anyway i still think its gonna be a great game but will have to see how the gameplay mechanics are. ill probably pick this one up when it comes out.

dragonslayerssj

That's unfair, it doesn't matter that it doesn't look like GoW, CoD or Halo but it does matter that it has a compleetly different style that doesn't fit the original concept of the game after the first trailer. I normally don't like shooters but the whole concept looked great. It gave me this idea of a depressing lost world with elements fromFallout and Mad Max and a story about the harshness of surviving in such a place. But this artstyle doesn't fit the setting at all, maybe it wasn't ever supposed to be as they made it sound but then this artstyle still confirms that this isn't the game some of us want.

Ok that's it. After seeing the first (realistic) trailer I had this game on my potential full price list but I really don't like this at all. Sometimes when it's not too obvious I can deal with it and get it later on at a discount but this is too much.

Make sure 3/4 of the light is flashing (if it isn't already then there are always ways to make it do that) and keep calling Microsoft. Eventually someone will get you a free repair.

[QUOTE="ronnet"]

[QUOTE="GodLovesDead"] I agree with this. Not about the achievement bits, but Fable is more fun and more involved. Oblivion does have a lot of content, but once you've done one Oblivion gate, you've done them all. Oblivion's storyline is a bit on the lame side and the game itself feels a bit downsized if you played Morrowind a lot.-SPECTER-MIKE

I agree, Oblivion is considered one of the best games of this generation, aswell as often called the best WRPG of this generation. But it doesnt come close to it's predecessor Morrowind. Morrowind had a lot more lore, more intresting lore, more guilds, more quests, more unique NPCs, More weapons, more armor, more diverse cultures, and probably most important: a better storyline.

Oblivion's story is as you said a bit lame, it simply follows the traditional RPG story about evil trying to destroy the world. Even worse is that it has a lord of the rings feel over everything which was compleetly uncessecary. They even changed the lore so that the worldmap would look more like middle earth! Morrowind on the other hand had a unique world and a story that used the lore to it's fullest. Sure you had some evil being trying to take over the world but it wasnt just that. There was a history between the bad guys and the so called good guys. On top of that you had all sorts of political powers doing their thing, it all added up to a fantastic setting.

Morrowind is for the XBOX right. Yeah my friend was playing it and said you can become a werewolf? Anyways I probably will try Fable 2 to at least give it a chance. P.S. I have Fallout

Yes, Morrowind is for the original xbox but its also backward compatible for 360 so any 360 on XLIVE can play it or you need to burn the BC data on a disc and rip it on your 360. You can become a werewolf (and vampire) but thats part of the expansion so you would need to get Morrowind:GOTY for xbox and not the regular copy.

[QUOTE="Rainbow_Lion"]

no chance, 360 can barely run Oblivion

Rainbow_Lion

Might want to rethink that statement.

As for my opinion though, I do think that a Crysis port would be possible, but at the same time, would have to really be downscaled.

errr why? It looks awful on the 360

Rubbish draw distance, low object detail, short lighting effects distance, slowdown, low res textures etc etc, maybe you should play it on PC then compare that to Crysis :lol: the 360 could get no-where near Crysis

You really need to think before writting something down. Bethesda wasnt really experienced with the X360 back then, they even got around to improving a few things through patches. Ofcourse somethings required more then a patch, but with FO3 they showed it can be done. And Far Cry 2 showed even more can be done, back in 2006 we wouldnt have thought it would be possible to run FR2 on 360 with the graphics that it has. By 2010 I'm sure the same thing will eb said about Crysis or (hopefully) a more enjoyable great looking game.

[QUOTE="RobboElRobbo"]Fable is more fun imo, but Oblivion has WAY more content than Fable. It only take about 5 hours to beat the main quest on fable. But, you will spend lots of your time getting achievements and stuff afterwords. The achievements own in Fable.GodLovesDead
