@sdcazares1980 @bmart970 In all fairness, they could still make easily make draw more from this exceedingly rich universe without it feeling greedy. It all depends on how they handle it, I suppose.
@00LiteYear @Dannystaples14 @blblblalba I have played through the first Halo... so many fucking times. Even more if you include the Anniversary edition.
I hope by "multiplayer" they don't also mean cooperative, because I don't think the option to have a second player join in on the campaign has ever hurt the development of a game.
@pspearman @Adavanter @orthodox1976 ODST is one of my favorites, for some reason, but I agree: they didn't go far enough with the weakness of being a normal soldier. Fighting Covenant troops as an ODST soldier should have been much more... dynamic. Fighting a group of Brutes and a pack of hunters should have been an enormous deal, compared to being a spartan, and I don't think they made being an ODST different enough from being a Spartan.
@pspearman @Yamakoichi @orthodox1976 I, also, am a campaign lover. I think ODST and Reach had slightly better campaigns than 4 gameplay wise. Halo 4 knocked it out of the park with graphics and story. The characterization and emotion was brilliant compared to anything that Bungie did.
As far as gameplay and combat is concerned, Halo 4 had some big flaws (not horrible, but noticeable). Mainly, the enemy. The prometheans were not as fun to fight as the covenant. They don't have the character. They are just blank enemies and fighting them was always repetitive in strategy. I did, however, like the challenge that the knights provided.
