@pspearman @orthodox1976 You think the quality dropped? I thought Halo 3: ODST was a refreshing change of pace. Halo: Reach had an excellent campaign. I think the quality was more of a... plateau...

Microsoft shifted studios because their contract with Bungie expired, and Microsoft owned the Halo brand.

@orthodox1976 I think Bungie stopped making them because they no longer own it; Microsoft owns Halo now. Halo 4 was an exceptionally well done game, considering 343i is brand new, and they even did some aspects better than Bungie ever did (and I'm a die-hard Bungie fan).

343i is full of passionate, talented people and some very big Halo fans. They've already acknowledged some of their problems with Halo 4, too.

I don't want franchise fatigue, a new one every year like CoD, but I'm excited to see more from 343i.

@CROAT_56 @Shango4 I'm sure most games will, at first, be improved greatly by the Xbox One's cloud usage.

Which makes it all the more aggravating that they are screwing up other aspects so terribly (and acting so damned arrogant about it).

@travisstaggs Parts of it were meh, parts of it weren't meh. With the right direction, and a little tlc, they could have taken the not-meh and formed a game that wasn't meh.

Someone should have mentioned this line of thinking to Gearbox when Aliens: Colonial Marines was in production. If your product is garbage, and you know it's garbage, don't release it!
