@gottago42 to Planetside 2's credit, they do have an excellent model, probably the best I have seen. You can get access to everything without ever paying. You can pay if you are impatient.

"whether it was pushing the boundaries of innovation...." not testing a game extensively before it is released is what you call innovation?

I guess they were innovating how much they could get away with.

This written piece is not a game review. It is a description of the multiplayer action in Titanfall. A game review must incorporate cost, length of play, depth and future promise.

Titanfall has a lot of promise, but at its current state it was disappointing as a full priced release. What made Halo great, for instance, was an awesome campaign which told a great story and gave a sense of belonging in the universe. That, backed up by a great multiplayer mode, gave Halo its 'Superb' rating.

Titanfall does not give you that same sense of belonging in it's universe and it does not make you care about the conflict. If it did, it would have been the start of a great new game franchise.

The game reviewers seemed to have just impulsively written a review based off of a fun experience in the multiplayer, and disregarded a lot of facets of what makes a great (and lasting) game. I hope the author revisits his review in the future.

what is this? why would anyone buy a console limited to such games? I dont think the Ouya is attractive even to the extremely casual gamer. its not even meant for a niche market. it just has no purpose to exist.

@whiteninjazx6r @outlawoftorn fair enough. but I would expect them to at least recognize the connection between battlefield and mantle since it has been all over the gaming landscape recently.

@CriticalCritic @outlawoftorn if you subscribe to a subscription based service, such as HBO, there are no ads.

if there are going to be advertisements on a console, then the service should be free.

xbox live has ads, and so should be free. if i pay for it, there should be no ads.
