Yeah I just got a ps3 right now too and i was wondering the same thing although i got the 40gig. The thing with me is i really like Resistance but is it true that everybody plays 1 hit kill matches? I mean if I wanted to, could I find a regular game of anything? The only thing I dont like about COD4 is the short multiplayer and I was looking for a game I could play with friends. I think I'll wait till UT3 comes out.
lol yeah I just got my 40 gig this saturday and it came with two controllers so i thought it was a good deal. On the whole i am alot more impressed by it, when you start it up it just seems like a classier machine, its the only way I can describe it, the PSN seems fine too I don'thave apersonally but my friend w/ a 360 w/ high speed internet said it takes him hours to download demos but it takes me about 20-30 mins at the most, havent played anything online yet so thats all but so far I love it! I just cant decide what game to get first though..
Same here I had heard that there were still some minor problems with the game, i guess they took note and decided they would delay and polish the game up till its right. I dont think they would want to tarnish their reputation for making some of the best FPS games.
I was sure at first it would be great especialy since its Free radical but after hearing all the good stuff I read some bad stuff about how it got kind of bad in the indoor shooting parts so I'm not so sure, most likely though I'm sure it will be good though just not a 9.0 or above game.
Thats funny cause i read a review on ps3zine a free online magazine and they compared fifa and PES and PES is definitely better they said and they said its improved over the 360 version and no mention of a framerate problem, i wouldntget that worried about it.
lol yes it has sweet mechs, i thought it looked great and most of capcom's games are good if not decent, it seems like big news to me but apparently its not worth a mention on any sites i just found out from kotaku.com.
yeah i sold them a ton of my old ps2 games all in good quality with the manuals and everything not a scratch and i barely got 20 some dollars worth of credit. What place gives you the best amount of instore credit?
yeah thanks alot for the info guys atleast its good to have some good games to choose from finally when i buy the system. As long as there are still alot of people playing resistance online i think it sounds pretty good.
OK as cool as it would be if this was true I am 90% sure it isnt because if you see one of the recent interviews with the guy he says that it is going to be for the 360. The person asking the questions just says ps3 and pc but the guy (i dont remeber his name now i think it was mark something) interrupts the interviewer to add the 360. It will come out but probably not for a while i think.
man this makes it tough, i wanted to decide what to game to get first when I got my ps3 i always wanted to play resistance but warhawk is looking better to me everyday especially with splitscreen online and haze is also looking really good, not to mention i also wanted to play oblivion really badly but i heard that they are coming out with a game of the year edition for the ps3 that has shivering isles in it so i will just wait for that. maybe resistance will become a greastest hits for the ps3 sometime soon although i doubt it.
