[QUOTE="NetYankEagle"][QUOTE="UT_Wrestler"]The eastern conference is a joke. Any team that makes the finals will get clobbered by the spurs, mavs, suns, jazz, etc.Cwesty21
its funny how everyone says the eastern conference is a joke when they won the last 2 out of the 3 finals:| people seem to forget bout that

lol ya and i dont think anyone would have beat the cavs except the Spurs, and its not over yet

I have to agree with NetYankEagle, the best team in the Eastern Conference is not the Cavs so you dont really have much of a challenge at all. Trust me the Eastern Conference is definitely weaker but there are teams that can win championships in the Eastern Conference I mean it hasnt been as if the Western Conference has been dominating the finals the past few years (except this year)

They were motivated actually until the Cavs come along. I know the Pistons pretty well and their one weakness is staying motivated against teams they think are bad. So after beating the Bullsthey figured they would just cruise by the Cavs. It really makes me frustrated to see them get overconfident cause they always end up losing when that happens.

Hey guys I am kind of new to the Sports Board so I figured I might as well introduce myself and let everyone know that I am new so if I say something stupid I am sorry. I also wanted to take this opportunity to say congrats to all the people graduating this year from high school or college (or middle school or elementary :|although I hope no one here is that young) I myself just graduated from high school and man it feels great!!

Well you can tell if a team has a chance to make a comeback from down 3-0 like the Bulls could have done it against the Pistons in the second round but the Spurs are just too good to lose 4 straight games in the Finals. I think Pop would kill his players if they did that.

I am pretty interested in seeing how teams in the Eastern Conference do next year. I mean alot of the teams are becoming even with each other now so. I really have to see how the Heat do without any players injured next as well as Washington. Personally I think the team with the best record next year might be theBulls I really like there team, they got a bunch of young guys that have alot of experience playing with each other now so I would say Pistons finish with the second best record and Cavs finish 3rd.What do you guys think?

Well Gibson is the second best player but look at what happened to him when he started the game yesterday. That said I am not sure how much different other eastern conference teams are going to at the Cavs. I still see then as a 50 or so win team that can make it to the ECF at the most, you have to admit the kind of got lucky in the seeding this year. It could have turned out very different if the Bulls had the second seed.

[QUOTE="viberooni"]

Peacebringer you are correct that the foul was not in the act of shooting

nickdastick

That actually isn't the case. Everyone I have seen either on TV or on the web (sports sites) has agreed that if a foul was called, LeBron would have gotten three free throws because it would be considered a continuation foul. Obviously the game is over but I'm just saying that if a foul would have been called (doesn't matter now but this is just to back up what I'm saying) LeBron would have received 3 FT's.

Boy I hope "everyone" doesnt say jumping of a bridge is cool cause I am afraid you would actually do it. It doesnt matter what everyone says we are entitled to our own opinion. I dont think he was fouled in the act of shooting but I know he would have gotten the call if the refs had blown the whistle. But they didnt.
