DEEEEEEEEEETROIT BAAAAASKETBAAAL you better believe it, its gonna be a helluva off season360wishlist

HAHAHA Man I really wish this would be true but you can really tell with the pistons you would think they would finally be motivated enough next year but I wont be surprised if they have another playoff meltdown. One thing is for sure most people dont see them as contenders anymore which might mean that they finally play with that chip on their shoulder that they had when they won the championship in 04.

Same here but Duncan is starting to get a little old now, but I its pretty hard to find really good big men, I mean the Pistons still havent found a replacement for Wallace, Webber doesnt count since he sucked and didn't help out the team in any way during the playoffs.

Oh and second, the Mavs would not have beat the Spurs in the playoffs. Every year there is some hot team that everyone in the nba talks about during the regular season. It doesnt mean anything if you cant pull it off in the playoffs!! The Mavs dont play very good defensive and Dirk needs to stop taking so many jumpers and drive in the paint alittle more. Then maybe , they will go somewhere. Dude, they lost in the first round, against the Warriors , who shoot 3-pointers almost allthe time! The Warriors were fun to watch though!! They would be better if they gota good center.southerndownfan

Yeah thats too true, the one thing the regular season will tell you is that the team with the best record will not win the chapionship now. Its all about peaking ar the right time. As for the raptors I totally forgot about them, they really impressed me this year, but I see them as a team that makes the playoffs every year and gets to about the second round before losing. I really thought they should have beaten NJ, its pretty cool though how just about all their players are foreign I think Carlos Delfino will fit in pretty good in Toronto.

Well players do get better as time goes on maybe Dallas is better because they have a PG better suited to running their style instead of how Nash like to run things. As for Dirk I agree because he rarely takes over games of dominate but I dont feel the same way about Nash, I just think that Phoenix has some bad luck.

Well knowing Stern he will probably refuse to change the rule and instead put in some new ones that make basketball even less physical.

dirk and nashare horrible playoff payers that why they get the mvps because that their limitthey get out the way when the big boys come out dboe313

I really dont think that those two are bad players especially Nash. I mean I understand what you said about Dirk because he had no impact in the playoffs for his team except for the second game they won. However Dirk can take over games in the playoffs, Game7 against the Spurs was a great example. Steve Nash also plays great in playoffs I have seen him rescue his team lots of times in the last moments of games but usually they either have a key player or players missing during the playoffs, either due to injuries or as the case was this year due to suspensions.

Yeahh I think they need to judge each case by seeing the situation and not just have the same penalty for all situations.

I dont think that the players wouldremember some rule inthe heat of an intense game that gets even more intense when it looks as if your star player was knocked into the stands on purpose. Its a fairly stupid rule if you ask me. The rule should be if you fight you get suspended not if you go towards the fight with the intention of hitting you should get suspended.

LOL which future are we talking about here, maybe if they come to the Eastern Conference. They got a while to go before that happens I think, I wonder who would win between the Suns and the Jazz if they faced each other in the conference finals.
