Sounds like a great game. Good to hear the game is taking some multi-tiered level design cues from Mortal Kombat and presumably Dead of Alive. There's going to be destruable surfaces and objects; hopefully better than the Dragon Ball Raging Blast and Tenkachi series. Seeing that Ed Boon is working on it, and looking at the past MK vs DC game...I'm going to guess it won't be four simple button control a la Smash Bros.

Could this game accomplish what Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects couldn't??

Well without the major parties/publishers being there, maybe the smaller and/or Indie companies can make a spectacle. This makes me really lament over the fact that I didn't get to go to E3 in its glory days.

Good article, great points! Surely it can't be too hard for Capcom to include PS2 collections/ anthologies in its next anniversary package. I enjoyed Capcom vs SNK 2 for PS2; the more games the better. Street Fighter nostalgia can never hurt IF packaged correctly.
