I LOOOOOVE all of the posts from people who didn't watch the video. This thread is epic.ck02623
lol in system wars?they say the video is the proof (they dont watch it), even tho the video says KZ3 water sucks(and it kinda does if its scripted)-.

It'll be very interesting to see what they do.

I think sticking with sprites may just look a bit weird on the 3DS. The console has the power of the GCN. It was a bit excusable on the DS since 3D games on it were really choppy, but 3D looks significantly better on the 3DS.

People already complain about the games not changing enough. It's time for a change. I want to see what a full 3D adventure Pokemon game looks like designed by Gamefreak. I don't know that it'll happen, though. =(

it actually has way more horsepower than the GCN by specs(twice the ram, thrice the capacity)-and the difference between Revelations and RE4 is huge to make the point clear. But this fortifies your point-sprites wouldnt be excusable. high end cel shading however, is.

Go to GOG.com; anything there will run on your netbook besides Witcher 1+2, and they have VERY few bad games. I don't work for them, I just buy a lot of games through them.Phenomellama
yeah im using em now thanks!. Gungirl seems a bit too amateurish?Cave story is so good it became a retail game(remastered for wii), but nooot so sure bout gungirl. Azteca framerate does slow down in a couple of maps. GOG is working and yeah Dwarf fortress is working but uuughhh im still not used to control those dwarfs(really wondering why there isnt an engine remake of the gui).

i love these games because unlike witcher its quite open ,its not about a scripted looooong story with some side quests , its the fact that you can do ANYTHING and change permanently the game and story will play from that point, thats what makes these games amazing. It makes the story feel personal and unique depending on your playstyle, not just choices.

Not so casual? 2D??? What you are looking for is Dwarf Fortress. The finest fantasy city simulator around.

MacBoomStick
a friend suggested this to me for a while ,i was resistant due to the interface but, well, here i go.Btw i was playing Aztec and it runs really nicely.I also have torchlight and i like it, but after playing diablo 2(in the very same netbook), i cant but wonder why it lacks online mp.However, i played the hell out of diablo 2, so im done with it. I also played Warcraft III but theres a screen issue with it(due to resolution ).

Maybe the Indie Games Bundle might have some good games for you? So far, I've only played Aztaka but it is a very fun metroid-ish game with rpg elements.

Do you mind very old games?Pvt_r3d
not really, if they are good, they are good. But with games like PVZ i found that developers still make games than run anywhere (Pentium IVish) and look good. Still, i also play Commandos 2 in the netbook and it runs smothly. So oldies can be great too.

Hi , i dont usually play that much on my netbook, compared to the desktop.but there are many times i find myself itching for some good game between worloads, besides old emulators and stuff.

The computer(toshiba nb250) runs nicely a number of games, of which the following i really liked, and the question is if games with these graphics but of deeper genres, exist(fighting, rpg and such).

-Angry birds(doh).

-Plants vs zombies -it animates really really well.Id LOVE an rpg game with this quality of graphics.

.Maplestory(obviously runs nicely except at raids sometimes).its great but grindy. And ragnarok(dead as it is with its lack of modern updates).

-Navyfield (good but old and repetitive by now).

-Cave story(now this is what im talking about-looks,animates great, and is deep beyond casual).

Any other examples ?free or not?(i also play Terraria on Steam), im interested in any decent ,light resources, great game that doesnt hurt the eyes.

Anyone savyy enough on this pretty damm obscure and specific topic?

Yeah but the difference between the Wii and Wii U is the former required them to likely create an exclusive game, while the latter will let them just find another place to park a multiplat game. The latter is far more likely. Sepewrath
exactly.I didnt believe it when they said stuff about it.I knew wii couldnt run old xbox ports already.I believe them NOW.Wii u is stronger than 360.
