Have you tried some of the first person shooters for iphone? They are downright terrible. I would take analog sticks over a touch screen any day.

Have you even played a FPS on the DS? You use the stylus not your finger, plus you use the bottom screen so your hand is not blocking your view. The touch screen is so fast and accurate it's just like a mice. The touch screen works great and better than DA. The only downfall is that your hands can get tired over time.

stating facts Ds did get a LOAD of shooters, many more than PSP did. Because devs felt touch screen(bottom touch screen! NO IPAD -VITA touch screen). worked.They did loads of games and they worked.And all had online .On the OLD DS.3ds is quite capable, and it even has an analog . CODMW, COD BLACK OPS, COD WAW on the DS.Outside of nintendos goldeneye, or rogue agent or those DS shooters(and prime).

No psp cod Until vita(and i wouldnt be surprised it were and have a 3ds version as well). But even so, shooters arent the genre people like in portables that much. So it wont be a huge draw-the demand wasnt there. So i dont think devs will massively work into it.Some would be nice. Then again, the Prime hunters experience was top notch, and it was on the ds 4 years ago. 3ds has potential of much better now.I think that would be a good standart.

Do you realize OOT is among 5 higuest ranked games in all of gaming history?-it was not surpassed by most games on all systems even after 1997?Dont expect is easy to topple that. 3ds is pretty cranked up if you ask me. I dont know, as for me, im not a fan of 1st party titles that much.That said i enjoy mario, and im looking foward Mario 3d. Games like SSF4 are ranked pretty high really, dont know how you expect better. From Nintendo, Professor layton is pretty fresh, and although the next one is a DS game, upcoming one wont be. Besides, Tekken its coming up and DOA dimensions is also a pretty solid exclusive game. Its been 3 months dude, compare that with the ds games we had in the first 3 months. If you want nintendo to constantly pull new ips as in the 8 bit era, be in for dissapointement. Developing times and costs are not what they were in the 80s man.It is no longer possible to pop 4 new ips every 2 years(unless you talk about portable apps). But for a fully fledged ip, is not possible-and even less when theres a huge demand of classic franchises to keep going. Mario kart on wii and ds sold around 40 million copies-more than Halo 3 and MW COMBINED. So the demand is huge-and nintendo is trying to have their teams work on these-and new ips- every so often(Oceans, Layton,Sports series,advance wars). Not to mention, Icarus is a new ip in practice.I mean, most people havent played the old game and honestly IT HAS NOTHING TO DO with the original game. Why dont you look foward to that?
