actually you can use the laser cutter to cut holes in your cover so you can see the enemy and shoot from them. I saw that in a totalbiscuit playthrough a few hours ago. So I think the reviewer didn't actually experiment with the laser cutter and was quick to criticise.

Im not saying games shouldn't have replayability, but does it have to be at the cost of the overall games length?

Ground Zeros was an expensive demo in my opinion. This coming from a long standing MGS fan.

@Maxxgold @Maj_Wood Thats the thing about reviews, you should only follow reviews that also seem to represent your tastes.

I use Angryjoe since virtually all games he has recommended to his tastes, match mine. He also gives a very in depth analysis about what other sorts of players may not like, etc.

So regardless of one's taste you can get a good idea of what the game is like and if its for you.

I recommend checking out the Rev3 games review for a more critical analysis. Apparently some elements aren't as good as the original Dark souls.

@RobDev @houshidar true, but that is more the exception rather than the rule for open world games. RAGE did the same thing, poor design choice in my opinion, but I suppose it makes for a more "impactful ending" in the case of fallout, or a disjointed and abrupt ending in the case of RAGE.

If he beat the main quest then played the game and all the side quests, etc. Or never plays the main mission, surely its the same thing you are just missing out on the "main quest" which is essentially just another quest?

I dont get it.

Guys, this "Game of the year" stuff has absolutely no value, think about it...
