Stick with 7 imo.

Its was only worth it to me since it 40$ and I was upgrading from windows xp which I had been using for a long since it saved me some money when it came to upgrading but with direct x 10 and 11 I had to upgrade to windows 8.

I'm just glad I got it for only 40$. Windows 8 Isn't to bad is has a little bit of learning curve and some issues with games for windows live needing to be re-installed to certain games. I do love the synced theme's from windows 8 using my msn account.

Yes very much so, I wasn't really fan of the ruff looking women in vanilla skyrim.

Mods brings more choice and falvor to games which is why I think more games should support em :)

I've been using an sony KDL-26S2010 since oct 2007. I figured out how to fix the over scan issue a while ago.

Keeping in mind that I'm using a gtx 280 and windows 8 64bit so things may differ. But how I fixed it was re sizing the desktop with Nvidia control panel.Im also using Dvi to Hdmi cable and I have the wide mode set to full and display mode set to normal.

For example I resize the desktop resolution 1824X1080 then I switch it 1920x1080 and it fits to the screen perfectly. I have to do the same thing to play at 1280x720

Anyways thats been working for me so far. I use to not be able to play games at 1920x1080 or 1280x720 until I figured it out.

Hope it helps.

Strange, I have a Diamond TV Wonder 650 PCIE and didn't have any issues using Windows Media Center. The drivers from their website are pretty dated, but they get the job done.Marfoo

Yeah, I forget what drivers I'm using but I am using windows 8 64 bit that maybe part of the problem.

But I did get for virtual dub working and seems to work pretty good and the price is right lol

ty Blistrax.

Now I just gotta get a second computer monitor

Also I got the tv card off ebay only 20$ I thought it was an all right price.

So a few months back I got a ati DIAMOND TV WONDER 600 PCIE video capture card for my computer but it didn't come with any software to record tv or video input.

I have been using xspilt free edition to record video input but its qute rather limited and kinda on pricey side for me.

Windows media center won't recognize the card no matter what input I use.

Im looking for some software to view and record from the card preferably free or something that doesn't cost too much because at that point I might as buy  a new tv card.

I have been playing a lot of DC universe at the moment. It seems to have gotten a lot better since it went free to play and had server mergers.

The game feels quite alive with lots of people around to help with quests and you dont have to be grouped to to share quest credit.

If you're fighting off bad guys and some picks up a quest item you still get credit for the quest item.

Im a bit of lazy guy so I love using the xbox 360 controller to play the game with. Its not really a complex game as some mmos having you having to have a lot of keybinds.

No its game that pretty pick and play, Which is a good thing in my opinion.

My current character is miles tails the foxy sorcery spec'd in the summoning.

Which Im enjoying quite a bit being a healer with a pet that helps out with healing.

I also love the character creation in this game while not as in depth as some mmos but still lets me create the character that I want to play as.

The quest are ok, Nothing too special, Just kill mobs, Collect this and bring items to location for delivery.

The dungeon finder  tool works great. Out of 5 runs only one of them was a bit slow. But the group pulled together we cleared the dungeon.

Raids I cannot speak for since I havent done them and same goes for pvp, Since Im really not a pvp type person.

I have a level 30 gadget character from before it went free to play with server merger back then the game felt quite dead.

But right now with my level 22 sorcery character the game feels quite alive with many people around. So I believe the game has improved greatly since from it first launched.

I would recommend anyone to give the game a go but just like any game its not for everyone.

Some people like RTS game while I do not like them, My point is everyone is different and needs to find the game that fits them.

[QUOTE="panndemic"]I have an advice for you: Be careful what you wish. This should never be invented, because it will have a disastrous effect on humans. No one would actually want to leave that world after they enter. This thing happens even now, when technology is so primitive. Yes, people are that dumb. Moreover, I'd rather not play a video game while being unconscious.chrisrooR
Most things have a disastrous effect on humans, so stop being so melodramatic. Just use self-control. And if you're dreaming about playing games, it might be time to turn off the computer and go outside. I've been there after particularly long gaming stints (28 hours...etc playing WoW), and it's a sign to get some fresh air and see you're friends IRL.

Funny part I don't even own the new tomb raider or even watched any clips with the last week. I plan on buying come steam summer sale. It must of came from a memory of watching a trailer or the demo on youtube.

I've been playing mostly skyrim and DC universe online. :)
