Even if every single one was bought for resale then that still means that they will be desired and purchased by someone.
Don't forget there was a massive amount of WiiUs purchased for resale... and... HILARIOUSLY there was backlash from those prospectors when they were saddled with WiiUs they were unable to sale.
Also you may wish to check out the previous 'the point' about the PS4 launch which details launch titles and proves you pretty wrong.
I was just thinking about Artemis Entreri during my last meeting...
anywho, I agree.
Nintendo doesn't have true prospects going forward, no matter how much fans want them too.
Unfortunately too many fans would prefer them to completely disappear then port. Love of a brand means more than the love of a game.
Although I've wondered for many years would the games really succeed in the open market, or do they simply survive by being the best thing on a Nintendo machine? I liked Mario galaxy... but not more than I liked Gears of War or the Last Colossus.
Can we quit pretending the Dreamcast and the N64 were better than they were?
They were bad ideas that ended up with a couple of great games.
Truly Great games.
But it is unrealistic to judge those systems solely on those few games, or to claim them a success when compared against other systems that were leaps and bounds superior.
It's novel to pretend the N64 was better than the PSX, but it wasn't. And we all know the long list of reasons why, it's simply popular to promote it as better than it was because it was novel.
Bashing COD at this point has nothing to do with Call of Duty. It's become a lexicon, a language used to describe something. "COD" is thrown in to make a point and rarely if ever has anything to do with the actual game. Just a way of making a point and trying to make others feel embarrassed by association to popular titles.
