DLC has proven good for the BUSINESS side of games. People buy it, so of course companies continue to offer it. They would have to be stupid not to.
So before you start bitching, first think about the DLC you've bought over the years, and realize that whether you like it or not, you are part of the problem.
If you don't like DLC, the only way you can help it to go away is NOT TO BUY IT.
He has a point, but with developers now trying to sell DLC "season passes" before the main game has even launched, it is at times hard to see that point.
Not to mention that Bethesda games often launch with numerous bugs, some of which are game-breaking. It is hard to justify a DLC purchase when the vanilla product doesn't even work as intended.
