Earlier i was have GTX 280. And many problems. Freezing issues and graphic anomalies. So this can be repeat on GTX 480 ? Or no ? Please answer cause i want to sell this 5870 for good cash.
Of course now i have other platform. With gtx 280 i was have Socket 775 and Quad 2,8 . Now is a little other situation. Now i have I5 and P55-UD3 mobo. But answer plx.
That was just only 1 bad graphic card ( gt280 ) , my unluck?
Or all gtx are not good stability?

Its pretty clear that if you had these problems before its not your video card, I have been through the same problems, I had nvidia gave me the same errors and BSOD's, swapped to a 4870 and it gave the same error. It turned out it was a bad stick of ram just like a previous poster suggested. It's confusing when it gives the display driver error, its becouse the ram colaborates with the vram, when the ram hangs, your gpu hangs aswell. I've been on ATI's side after the 9800GTX, using the step up program i upgraded from that to a 4870, then 4890 and now a 5870.
Didnt't have a problem with any of them. ATI had solid drivers for any game that i owned, infact in most benchmarks they run better.
So randomly posting that ATI has bad drivers is ignorant especially since they really turned things around recently, and nvidia didnt have this heat issue with the 9xxx serie so dont generalize the whole nvidia brand just becouse of their latest flop.
