Hi, I am wondering if anyone has any experience with PLASMAS as a gameing screen.

I heard Plasmas loose brightness or colour intensity in time but that was years ago.

Maybe they are not so bad now, I want to use Interpolation so my console games look like 60 fps(does it increase input lag?).

So any recommendations?

I would like for it to be big up to 60'' and not incredibly expensive, up to 1000-1500. Thanks.

[QUOTE="costyssj4"]

I got a HDMI converter and it connects a HDMI - and outputs through VGA , it also has a 3.5mm jack that outputs the sound from the HDMI.

I have this model.

Gembird DSC-HDMI-VGA

payed 40 bucks for it.

The setup runs amazing. I have a 24" widescreen CRT monitor SONY GDMFW900, so i dont loose image quality becouse its a CRT so no native resolution problems. Also i hooked up my audio system to output from the pc and ps3 at the same time. So i can use the PC to listen to what ever music i want. Also my monitor swaps between the pc to ps3 with a button. It looks alot better on the CRT than on any LCD TV i have tried.

Also if you noticed alot of xbox360 and ps3 image quality comparisons, The ps3 image looks alot more washed out, well thats becouse the people didnt set it up to output better black levels, to do that you need to put HDMI FULL RGB instead of limited. Not all TVs support this but there is a test on the web somewhere to see if it can display all the black levels.

PcGamingRig

thank you very much. :)

I am glad I could help :).

Killzone 3

Eternal Sonata

Tales of Vesperia

Tales of Graces F ( heard it had co op dont have it to test)

Little Big Planet 2

Sacred 2

Lego Harry Potter

I didnt really write the best, there are only a few CO OP games so every splitscreen/co op game is welcomed for me.

Hi. I recently went to a friends house since he got a new TV, it was a 56" Samsung 3D TV.

He hooked it up to the ps3 and we tried all the features. I saw this feature named Motion Plus which made all 30 fps games look like 60 fps. It will probabily make 60 fps games look like 120 fps if you have 120 hz.

So i was wondering if there is some sort of Dedicated box i can hook up between my ps3 and TV.

Maybe you guys know.

Here is an Example of the feature:

Thanks.

Hi, I just got the ps3 with god of war 3 and demon souls.

Both games are incredible. I also have a Gaming PC so I would like some games that are not on PC aswell.

Thanks.
