Just curious to your opinions. Im usually pretty good with predictions. Im just specualting here. Im not going to get into the reasoning behind these predictions as it would be too much reading.

I bet as we speak Bethesda is at their desks looking at Fallout 4. I would also think Rockstar is behind their desks building a sequel to Red Dead Redemption.

I think Remedy has already been building Alan Wake 2 for the next XBOX. I wouldnt be surpised if Naughty Dog was building a new Uncharted game for the PS4.

What other games do you believe to be in development?

In no particular order

Halo 4 - i had enough Halo already. Been there 5 times & im tired of it. The series just isnt that great, or special to begin with & shooters in general are so overdone that there is just nothing appealing here

Borderlands 2 - Another hollow shooting gallery imo with the whole purpose of shooting as many things as possible in order to increase your ranking. A very shallow game & just another shooter in a land of shooters. Nothing special here.

Black Ops 2 - Do i even need to speak about this?

Dead Space 3 - Another franchise that has crossed the line into generic action game & has been dumbed down for the masses.

Resident Evil 6 - This is no Resident Evil game. Im frightened at how horrible this game looks. Again, another franchise that has crossed into generic action game & has lost its identity.

The multiplayer side of things was very glitchy & not even finished upon release, however the campaign was wicked. If anything the game is highly underrated. As someone who has played the entire trilogy i can tell you it is by far the best one.

JoKeR_421

oh yea? u name me on game with MP that was solid when release. almost evry single MP game is glitchy, buggy, or has some sort of cheat to it. ur statement makes no sense really about the MP part. im just sayin u cant hate on the MP not being solid when released. while 99% of the games when released are like this. its the fact they were on top of things and fixed and listened to the community wat made it so great. is that they were on top of things.

There was 2 GB mandatory download upon release. How does that not spell "not finished"? The beta had only just ended a week before. The beta fixes couldnt even be implemented on disc because the game had already been shipped. That was what the 2 GB of data was for.

It was rushed, plain & simple. Many MP games have problems upon release, but at least those games were finished. R3s MP was not finished, which is why it had so many problems.

I rarely play Multiplayer at all lately but the MP game i stick with the most would be BF Bad Company 2. It never gets old. Even with the smaller community it still beats the hell out of BF3 imo. I'd say Homefront would be right behind BC2.

Then you're just stuck in the past.

GreekGameManiac

not really. i don't even mind it went 3rd person hell you could abuse that to make a great RE see here is what made RE,RE

-atmosphere:the feeling of being helpless and alone worried about being killed around every corner

-eery music:it adds to the atmosphere, while present music is catchy just doesnt give a good feel

-scarce ammo and health:gave it the survival horror feel, where you needed to conserve and think to survive

while the series was not scary or meant to be,it gave a good horror feel and needed you to survive these days you can kill everything before moving on ammo and health is everywhere and now they have a currency system which just throws everything out the window

also in RE6 they added a marker to show you where to go,where is the exploration? thats where some of the fun was.

it has nothing to do that im stuck in the past. it's that im annoyed that somthing great different unique became somthing completly different to appeal to the masses and dumb it down.

I'm sorry that you can't accept that games change.

:/

Its not that he cannot accept change, he can not accept games becoming sh*tt!er. People will accept change if it be the right change. They will accept evolution. I do not believe for one second RE evolved. It De - evolved.

Everything that was once appealing about it is now gone. I would much rather play a Resident Evil 1, 2 remake, even with a behind the back camera than play the recent RE titles. Im done with the RE series recent & future titles. RE6 looks horrible.

If you were a female gamer im sure you would get sick of playin as a man in every single game ever created so i can understand these complaints. Every game, especially Coop games should feature at least one playable female.

Ripley > any generic male character they came up with

When i was reading the article all i could see was" Activision & FPS", & all i could think was..... who would have guessed? Acitvision making another FPS game....... no way. Predictable.

After finishing reading the article im actually really intrigued. It sounds like much more than your typical, or generic shooter. I never thought i'd be interested in any game published under Activision but this sounds different. It may be good.

Im not looking for a shooting gallery the likes of Left For Dead but i would be up for a survival zombie shooter. Lets hope this is not another let down like Dead Island was.

It's four dollars per month, assuming you can't find a sale on an XBL subscription card.

I really don't get the consistent lamentations about an excellent service that costs less than a Happy Meal. I literally drop more on a single soda at the movies than a month of XBL and yet people act as if the cost is some massive obstacle that cannot easily be overcome.

Grammaton-Cleric

Xbox Live online should be free, period. Using your own internet connection peer-to-peer is not a service. They should be investigated and sued for defrauding the public and also fined heavily.

Why must i pay Microsoft after already paying my internet provider? Why must we purchase XBL in order to access Netflix which itself requires a subscription? The very simple ability of being able to particpate in an online match should be free.

Its one thing to offer aditional features & be charged for those but these features most of us do not care about. Im paying for Partychat, videos, music, facebook, twitter, msn, UFC, etc, all of which i do not use, nor do these features actually have anything to do with gaming.

This is the problem. You are forced to purchase everything, or you get nothing. As i said the simple ability of being able to particpate in an online match should be free. The Gold subscription could be a optional upgrade that came with all the extra fluff.

In terms of gaming Microsoft isnt doing anything different over PSN. They both have your friends list, messaging, invites, chat & such. All an online service needs. The both play the same in online matches. They are essentially the same, the difference being is Microsft charges for what others offer for free.

The same goes for PC. Free, as long as you have paid your internet provider. On top of this XBL is riddled with Advertisemnts, of which i would bet Microsoft makes enough money off of to pay for the entire service. Its a clear rip off.

We've also gotten to a point where we must pay our internet provider, to then pay Microsoft ( XBL = an online pass ), to then pay for EAs ( or any publishers ) online pass ( if bought used ), to then paying for the game itself.

It not about "well if you dont like it dont pay for it", That is obvious. It shouldnt be this way in the 1st place & that is the complaint.
