@Gelugon_baat @chuckles471 speaking of a "video game" and getting back to the reviewer's quote: "You can't soil your hands with the blood of hundreds and still have room for love in your heart." -- I think you need to remind the REVIEWER that it's only a video game. How could someone take themselves that seriously to write such a cringeworthy, almost slapstick sentence like that? I would go much further than chuckles471 and call that beyond pretentious.

@jaydee117 LOL ya I wonder when Justin was consulting "outside sources" why he didn't venture into Twitch and say, watch Brandon505 play some DS2. One just doesn't go on a mid-tier quakelive server and expect in little time to catch up to veteran duelers. Unrealistic time frame Justin.

@HappyFunRun I'm not sure what sources you used for your reply "left and right wing come from a scale...", but anyone with even a nominal academic background of reading humanities texts will vigorously DISAGREE with you.

The accumulated popular usage(convention) of "Right Wing" and "Left Wing" in discussions about ideologies, politics and economics leads to a completely DIFFERENT conclusion than yours: Nazis wished to return to a (fictitious) glorious past where race and national identity trumped job status and individual enlightenment.

You're hoping GS readers haven't read ANYTHING outside of this site(and maybe only TV faux news) so you can completely revise and reduce terms with well-understood baggage from years of scholarly and literary authorship. There's a reason "Left" and "Right" are called conventions -- you just can't simply posit from now on those terms will ONLY mean a strict, sliding scale of government rule

(btw, technically anarchy is simply the absence of ANY authority, not just government): Wiki quote - "Anarchism is often considered a radical LEFT-WING ideology."[my caps].

Good attempt to try and not-so-cleverly promote a big lie circulating on certain TV and radio shows.

p.s. Like DoogyDonDoogy implied -- sounds like Danny might have stepped on your big right toe and from your reply -- you didn't like it too much.

@nazgoroth @bikskit haha im guessing you played q3 or ut2k3? The Matrox was a great card. I remember when Thresh started promotoing the 12mb voodoo2 SLI card. I didn't quite have the money for that set-up :)

I think when you're in your teens and twenteens, you don't have many financial resources to travel the world and escape at will. You get locked into some bad jobs or grinding work hours. I remember when I (gladly) bought my $279 Diamond Monster II 8mb voodoo2 graphics card, and suddenly -- there was Quake 2, Half-Life and Unreal -- all of the exotic, colorful and wonderfully lit worlds for me to explore and tread with the exhilarating risk of death/respawn around every corner.

These worlds and their valleys, hallways and pathways seemed as visceral and memorable as any real-world experience without all the traffic lights, speed limits, physical exhaustion(lol) and pesky obstructions of annoying day in/day out monotony.

p.s. You have a knack for hitting veins of truth Danny.

@Diablo-B There are two numbers in the industry -- sell-through and sell-in. GTA had 800million in sell-through, meaning sold directly to the customer. The $1billion for Ghosts is sell-in, units sold to retailers; so Ghosts didn't outsell(to you and me) GTAV.

@jisdaone you do understand the difference between fact and opinion right? Kotaku wrote an OPINION(lol since your allcaps is stuck) supporting Gamespot for supporting her. Notice they didn't agree nor disagree with her reviews or writing.

btw - your post is called informally a non-sequitor; look it up.

@thedorkknight74 great points -- there's a common theme running through most of these comments: where in the world did THAT score come from? Nobody's contesting too many of the points in the review, but that score?
