@Alex__V My friend : PC is already better value. Gamers forget that PC, whether built with gaming in mind or not, can do other stuff.

Majority of you guys have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Cranking out random percentages of what this will have over that and making fanatical claims about how much greater a still-in-development console will (wishfully) have over PC hardware which doesn't even yet exist.

Oh Are you the tech guru over at Microsoft/Sony? Did you assist in engineering the architecture of the PS4 base platform? Yeah? >:D I didn't know! Do every gamer a favor and limit your virtual tongue to things you actually KNOW.

And I respect consoles. I really do. But consoles will never outperform high end (or even decent mid-level) PC's. It just doesn't work that way. Understand this now and save yourself some disappointment.

It's apparent that pc gamers and console gamers are jealous of each other. One group wishes they had the other's hardware while the other group wishes they had the other's games.

What's funny is that console gamers don't see it, but consoles are gradually becoming little PC's (hard drives, online, now Steam?). Pretty soon console gamers'll be upgrading their own RAM for their consoles and playing console FPS titles with mice & keyboards from Sony MS & Nintendo. Then we can all shut the fuk up n play.

It seems only a few FPS developers are able to recapture the same feel of their original masterpiece. Most suck after the first because the FEEL of the game just, changes (like the UT series), the elements of surprise become weak (F.E.A.R series), or the story telling and suspense is gone (again, F.E.A.R series). But in Crysis, I feel like everything has changed a bit since that 1st one. The game just hasn't been the same since Crysis Warhead.

There's a common saying in the United States and that is this : "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

If developers could simply learn to take the already GREAT game mechanism and style that they have in place, and just up the ante, or enhance it, instead of revamping everything, then we would all remain entertained. Unfortunately some games change too much and lose their edge, making us lose interest, that is what's happening here that the devs just don't understand.

Valve is a shinning example of a team that manages to retain all of its initial games' magic. Half Life 2 was like a Half Life 1 on steroids : new features, new content, but same gameplay. This is why we all want a Half Life 3.

If Crytek could've JUST taken Crysis/Crysis Warhead and just kept that same style, that same element of action & suspense, that same gameplay, and simply given us a new story, more content (weapons, locations, cool characters) and new features (maybe more abilities, and perhaps a take-cover system for combat), the sequels would've all been applauded. But infortunately they Changed.Too.Much,.....it's subtle changes, but it's still changes and it makes the game feel different - which is not good, considering they already had a masterpiece.

@Kryptonbornson If you look at your map/PDA in GTA IV you would realize that there is plenty to do. GTA IV actually has a story to follow, if you pay attention and follow it. The whole game is not just running around shooting at random people and trying to duck the cops when they chase you. There are many events that take place in succession.

I think you probably look for the wrong stuff in open world games, which is why you seem to have this idea that there isn't much to do.

The enemies look more like they belong in DMC and not in a sleek, tech-futuristic game like this.

I think everyone is forgetting that Dead Space has always been a Sci-Fi game first, horror game second. The first two games put more focus on the horror while this one seems to be focusing on the "Lost in Space", or Science Fiction aspect. As a Sci-Fi freak I can't complain about that. I'm sure there will be enough scares for the horror freaks.
