@princetom Firstly - it's "better than", not "better then". As for your taste, I don't know how you can fix that. Apparently, nobody agrees with your claim that the Nvidia demo is "cartoonish". You seem to be impressed with the Janimation demo more only because he's making overly extreme facial expressions. You're entitled to your opinion but honestly, both demos are very realistic and if you cannot see that, I'm that sorry you're missing out.

I guess you didn't know that the hardware that will be under the hoods of both the ps4 and neXtbox are already out and have been running in ppl's PC's for some time already. Not a "pc fanboy" here just talking some much needed sense to the ones who don't get it.
@emptycow I don't understand this whole polygon business. Are they saying that the ENTIRE GAME only has 30K polys? That's awfully low. I think I'm misunderstanding something cause at this stage, 1 character alone in any given current game can be comprised of that many polys.
@DeroxKING What year do you think we're in? You didn't just wake up from a 100 year coma, dude. This is technology : expect baby steps and upgrades, not "revolutions".
@gatsbythepig "awful" and "repulsive"? Are you sure you understand the definition of uncanny valley? It symbolizes CG animation that is so realistic (uncanny) that it is "creepy". How is that "awful" and "repulsive"? Your comment is rather confusing.
@KeviNOlighT I have seen the Cyberpunk 2077 preview and it looks really good. I just hope the gameplay is good too. I'll check out the rest of the titles you listed.
I'm far from a "game designer", but after reading this, I had to check out these "Ultima" games. I did, and if design is all about the appearance and geography of a game, then his designs are definitely not impressive to me. At least not in accordance with the kind of games I consider to have good design.
