I'm pretty sure the number of pre orders AFTER Microsoft changed their policies far exceeded the small amount of people bitching that they changed them.
If Microsoft listen to these people, they can kiss my pre order goodbye. It's a shame, I am really looking forward to playing the exclusive games I love on it while using the PS4 for everything else. But if Microsoft even think of screwing over an old Xbox fan again, they can shove it.
@kiramasaki TBH it was quite ambitious in graphical power. To me it would only make more sense to be released early next gen and not spend more years trying to dumb it down to current gen.
That's fine, but just make the next one a true successor to Mario 64 and I will buy your Wii U as soon as it's released.
3D land on the 3ds was fine, but it was no where near as good as the golden age of 3d platforming and I doubt many people would prefer it as a Wii U game instead of a true Mario 64 successor.
I'm so glad Microsoft finally listened to feedback and changed their policies, I would have hated to miss out on such a great game. Forza and Dead Rising 3 are the reason why I will be buying an Xbox One now, just for exclusives, while using my PS4 for everything else.
@arc_salvo @XBlade1X I completely agree with you. While I have always purchased the competitors to Xbox of the last 2 generations, I still used Xbox as my main console for gaming (besides PC) and left the other machines for exclusives.
I was really hoping that would continue with the next Xbox and while some may say it's too early to judge, I disagree that it's too early because we have already seen most of the console's vision and just about everything we know about it has more disadvantages than advantages.
The only thing I can really say I like so far is the overall look of the console and the fact they didn't change the controller too much.
PS4 on the other hand, I remember just watching their conference and just ticking boxes in my mind of everything I wanted. Did I do that for the X-Bone? Apart from the two things I mentioned above, no.
Microsoft, I am not sure what drugs you are taking but if you honestly believe in that statement, go to any website that features your terribly named Xbox one(thought I had one of those over 10 years ago).
No core gamers want to play kinect, nor do they want it to have to be connected at all times to play the 720(Even that's a better name)>
No core gamers appreciate the fact that they are paying for a machine which they cannot put on a shelf and plug in and play some classics in 20 years time. NO ONE WANTS TO ALWAYS BE CONNECTED TO PLAY GAMES.
If you really want to please us, do the opposite of what you are doing right now.

Thank goodness. If there is ever going to be a sequel or reboot of the Underground games, it needs to be done properly and not like some zero depth social game that gets boring in the first 10 minutes.
