Lmao @ Alex Ward thinking that this is a good sign of things to come. EA closes down developers like it's about to go out of style. Didn't these guys see what happened to Pandemic and so many others..? Cutting you down to a mere 16 people was just the beginning.
@Ceclor They're too afraid to put up the extra servers at launch nowadays. Too many detractors and free time trial players out there to properly assess the situation, methinks. I guess I can understand, nobody wants to pull a SWTOR and have a gang of empty servers after that first month of free time. But now that they can see the demand, they really need to add a few more, slowly but surely. As much as I understand their plight, I'm really getting sick of this situation, lol.
@zimerust105 Lmao, never can understand the need some folks have to see a new IP fail. Just because it's not YOUR thing doesn't mean it's not amazing to the several thousand people next to you.
@XxXDarkness0XxX You do realize that most new MMOs have a cap of around level 50 right? Hell, DC Universe Online started with a cap of 30, and the game is still going strong after two years. Not to mention, the producer of FFXIV has already stated his goal of adding new content every three months or so. All this doesn't bother me half as much as the fact that they can't seem to get their server issues together; there's plenty left for me to do on this game, considering I've been playing it for maybe three weeks total.
@Nicholi985 @bndori This is Capcom circa 2013. There's no guarantee whatsoever that this game will even be good given their recent track record and their habit of getting mediocre developers to work on lucrative franchises. There's every chance I'll never even want to play this game.
Hopefully, EA learned their lesson and will let Bioware just do their thing this time. A return to the greatness of Bioware's past would be much appreciated.
Um... what else is Capcom spending their money on right now, Ono? Oh, wait, Lost Planet 3, which I'm sure has the entire planet waiting with bated breath. Seriously, folks, LP3 is the videogame equivalent of Grown Ups 2... which is why it should sell like hotcakes.
