Dead Space 1 killed my first PS3. I was like a few trophies away from platinum too.. and I keep it well ventilated. After opening it up I realized, the thermal compound was cheap as hell and melted all over the place. Since then I got protection for my PS3 ;). hahhah Take it back to store if it decides it want to ylod on me.
Don't blow it all on a PC... I dropped a bunch of money on my PC.. and now there's way more powerful components.. You can never future-proof a PC. If you're PC is still in good working condition plays games on decent settings. Then use the money on something else. You could get a game here and there and spread out your money evenly, that way you'll have money to buy whatever new game that gets your interest.
I've seen videos and peoples PS3 fans and super loud.. mine didn't even sound anything like theirs and somehow it still died.. No I jus bout a slim and tried to update.. and it's not even updating.. it gets stuck on the install... what is going on here... is my luck really that bad for the new years??
I saw a bunch at best buy few weeks ago.. I'm talking like wrapped around the big counter.. piles and piles of them I jus got a 120gb from a different best buy there was three out.. I would think they have more in the back.. and aren't those bundles optional?? the ones in the basket..? I would think you'd be able to get everything separately.. it's so stupid.. first thing the sales rep tried to sell me after I jus picked up the ps3 off the aisle was if I had HDMI cable..? Then they wanted to sell me the remote.. are people not aware of these things when they go in?
oh and one more question.. this is probably a long shot.. but say I take out the old hard drive and place it in an external case, will I be able set it to recovery mode, even though I didn't run the backup process?
if you haven't noticed.. MGS4 isn't worth much anymore... unless you're some crack addict in need of quick 20 dollars.. there's really no point in selling it.. considering you bought it for way than that whats sold for now..
