Here's some innitial reactions. I played through on medium first, so I can get a feel for the songs before I try them out for real. Just beat the game a little bit ago, about to jump up to hard mode. The gameplay is much unchanged from the previous games, which is a very good thing. This is Guitar Hero, folks.

I'm not feeling the battle mode at all though. It's emplemented just as badly as I had feared it would. The few boss fights I've had fealt like a complete waste of time. Just unfun filler basically.

Yup, unlocked Dragonforce, and it's as awesome as I expected it to be. It's a shame that Devil Went Down To Georgia can only be played in battle mode though, if you could play that solo, it'd likely be the funnest song to play in the whole game. The metal cover of that song just blows me away how great it is, one of the best covers I've heard. This game is awesome.

Devil May Cry. Tried all three games and just couldn't get into any of them, no matter how much I wanted to. I'm finally learning after my third mistake though, and I'm not interested at all in DMC4...

Um not trying to be a pick or anything but... DK's (the one we know and love today) first game was Donkey Kong Jr, the DK in the first Donkey Kong game was either his father or grand-father (I forget which).

oh well thank you I guess some of us need to do more research.

Yeah, it's the guy you quoted who needs to do the research. You're right, he's wrong.

That's nothing compared to mine. I had a real bad habbit a few years ago of buying a crap load of games, but never getting threw them completely, or even beginning quite a few of them. That's why as of late I hardly ever buy any games, only those that I know that I will not skip out on, and it makes my collection look a lot better too. My collection of games from last gen looks really cluttered with just a bunch of stuff, but this gen so far I only have a select few good games that I've actually played, and not a bunch of crap that I haven't, and I think it looks a lot better on the shelf.

[QUOTE="princesszelda"]I'll be getting one. Im going for the Daxter bundle that comes with Daxter, a Family Guy UMD, and a 1 gb memory stick. I have to admit that they look pretty slickprincesszelda

Im thinking of going that route also.

I never bought a PSP. Kinda glad I waited.

Same, im thinking im picking one up tommorow actually. I want a few games like Jeanne D Arc, D&D Tactics, Valkyrie Profile and um... well that all I can think of right now, but thats good enough for me.

So the slim PSP's are already available?

No, not until September 10th.

The first Halo was leagues better than Halo 2.

As I mentioned before, I don't have any other games that uses the nunchuck really, so I can't test if it's the game or the nunchuck.

http://gonintendo.com/?p=23976 A little something about the problems this game has been causing some people.

As for scan lag, basically, I go to scan the item (in this case it was a new monster), and instead of loading up the information, it just stays there for forever and a day while I'm open to attack. I have to get out of scan mode and go back in order to get the new scan. It's not a big deal, just something annoying. The big deal is with my nunchuck problem I explained in the post above.

I've heard some people having problems with the game lagging and whatnot, and I've experienced the "scan lag" myself just recently. I've also experienced my nunchuck controller completely giving out on me on a number of occasions. There's times when it won't let me move forward, and then there's times when I can't stop myself from moving forward, and have to unplug the controller from the remote to stop it. Is this a problem that the game's causing me, or is there something wrong with my nunchuck? (I don't have any other games that uses the nunchuck, so it's not like I can test it out on something different). And as far as the game problems such as scan lag and the like goes, is there any solution to those problems just yet?

Thanks.
