Madden. My job deals with football, so the usually last thing I want to do when I get home after working on football stuff all day is see more football, not to mention that it seems to be the same package every year dressed up in different wrapping. Besides, college > NFL
Other than that, I'd say Burnout, Gran Turismo and Virtua Fighter.
Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Hitman... any stealth game... If I can't run up and stab a crowd of people in their faces... then the game isn't for me.
Star Wars series. I liked the movies 4, 5, and 6 growing up and then later on I somewhat liked 1, 2, and 3 when I was a bit older. But, no matter how hard I try, I can't get into the games for Star Wars. And I love rpg's. I'm sure there will come a time down the road when I want to revisit some classics and want it to be something I haven't played before and end up getting them and actually getting into them and playing them.
I get weird urges like that sometimes, I won't like something at first, and then later on down the road I will fall in love with it. Same thing happened with me and the Halo series. I purchased Halo 1 the day it was released, played it a few times, never really cared for it that much, even linked up xbox's on the weekends and played some 6 vs 6, but I only really did it to pass the time and hang out with my friends. Well I had put Halo away for quite some time, and then about 4 or 5 months before the release of halo 2 I picked up Halo 1 again and started playing it, and I caught Halo fever bad. I couldn't get enough of it, and I was trying to get all my friends over every night of the week to link up xbox's and get some small tournies going on.
There are many but one definitely being:
Metal Gear Solid...I'm sorry but the whole Story is totally messed up, it just doesn't make any sense, and don't let me get started on some of the characters lol...---The music I love though, the main theme is cool!

The story DOES make sense it's just really complicated. You can't fully understand it until you play the games a few times through. One of the main reasons why I like MGS so much is because of the story and the characters.
Zelda and Metroid.

Oh that's another one. I loved Zelda up till Wind Waker, and it's been downhill since then.
Never liked Metroid from the start.
Need for Speed (they're all the same, too easy, boring, and unrealistic)
Rachet & Clank (I dunno, just never liked it, and I found the humor was anything but funny)
Jak & Daxter (Disliked it for similiar reasons as Ratchet and Clank)
Fifa (I dislike soccer as a game, and I loathe FIFA)
Tekken (Just never got into it)
Warcraft (just never got into it)
Spyro(Back in the PS1/N64 days, it just seemed like a lame version of Banjo Kazooie)
