@Darkwalker75: You guessed right. Because I don't care for it. Neither for when something is called CGI or motion capture, or anyone who prides himself for knowing the difference. Now back to the point: Serkis is used too often for this. He's Gollem, the chimpanzee in Planet of the Apes, Supreme leader Snoke. King Kong. This narrows the variance in expressions and body language.
Sick of seeing this guy in CGI roles, though I think he's great at it. Would developers and directors know there's actually more than one single actor in the world?
@CatAtomic999:I know I'm on an ancient thread, but hear hear! It has always bothered me how most pro- and antagonists happen to be in their twenties / thirties, (white,) and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. I never mind if their older or average looking. Though I do understand a game/movie/series is more interesting if they have character.
