Assassin’s Creed Unity - Revolution Gameplay Trailer
Set amidst the chaos of 18th Century Paris, Arno, a young Master Assassin, will embark on an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the French Revolution. His pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation and ultimately carve a new destiny for the people of France.
Is that really his voice? Isn't he supposed to be french and austrian? Why does he have a colonial-american accent?
I've only played AC1, AC2, and Revelations, but I think I will add this one to that list as long as all that feminism crap doesn't ruin the game.
AC III was not that fun but they made up by giving us AC IV: Black Flag. And now Unity seems quite promising.
Am I the only one who is really really excited about the prospect of this? I am a huge Assassins Creed fan ever since I played the 1st one. Ubisoft have never failed to deliver on this amazing series and this looks like another classic.... Black Flag was an absolute pleasure to play and the best game of the series so far.
Going by the game lore, I am just surprised that even after so many high profile assassinations over the years that costume doesnt scream "Assassin" to the guards
I want some good, memorable music. I still look up Ezios Family and Earth from AC2 on youtube. Plus the chase/escape theme from AC1 was epic too...
The sync kills they showed off here don't seem as cool as previous games. I miss Connor's more "brawly" combat style.
So when they show a gameplay demo like this can I assume that's on high-end PC hardware? It's not gonna look like this on my PS4, right?
i hope the french dub is better, i played ac2 in italian and the beated the voice acting of the english ones
I played the first one ... like 15 min ... cant believe this series is still going ... how low can you go, people, surprise me
Graphics and gameplay looks exciting, but bad voice acting. sounds like "wannabe" and over-dramatic. But still looks like the franchise is trying to revive itself, and some hard work has went into it. So I will buy it.
i hope that this one isn't a stand-alone and it has something to do with Haytham, Connor, or Edward. or at least have something to do with Desmond Miles
I personally can't wait to play this. The new animations look great, and descending from high vantage points makes him look like a super hero or something. Plus for the first time in an AC game they are introducing stealth mechanics akin to Splinter Cell. I can't wait to play this!
I guess Bastille day is the perfect day to release a trailer
Though I wonder why a French character made by a French company in a game developed in a French speaking city does not sound even vaguely French
I remember all those "Breathtaking" "Gorgeous" "Awesome" etc (paid) remarks for the Watch Dogs trailers too, not gonna fall for that bullshit again.
@_planet Yeah, a civil uprising in the wake of political oppression is super boring. I don't mind if you insult the game, but calling it boring is pretty dumb, especially because it's a dramatization of a real thing that happened, and the real thing certainly wasn't boring.
@voljin1987 LOL. We all noticed that but then it is a game.
The internet and camera phones weren't invented yet and education of the guards weren't well educated in general.
@greasemonkey42 I heard this dude gets killed off if he fights more than 4 guards simultaneously.
@Meatwad650 It is going to look amazingly good(of course PC might have 2K and 4K support and 60+ fps)....I swear the fanbois have really corrupted people's minds like anything. People were bashing and laughing about how GTAV,Last Of Us,Uncharted 2,God Of War 3 etc. etc. were going to look nothing like in the actual PS3 platform but they have been proved brutally wrong... Like whats next now? Is Spider Solitaire on PS4 going to look downgraded compared to the Win 95 one?.
Stop reading brainwashing fanbois comments, take their words with a pinch of salt and move on.And graphical downgrades are not *always* because of the hardware,it could also be because of productive reasons, lack of time, lack of money and manpower could also be a factor
@Meatwad650 Actually, it will look way worse on all systems because this is Ubisoft and they lie about the graphics before their games come out.
Haha just kidding. I think it will look best on PC obviously, but the thing they nailed graphics-wise is the lighting and color pallets, so it will look great across the board. It's something most developers really screw up, but I guess not with this game.
@Sohaim I don't know anymore man.... this sucks because it already looks worse than how it did at E3 ):
damn you consoles.... damn you...
@crusaderprophet When exactly did the series falter? I don't think they've released a game that has outright failed... ever.
@entyme53 haha, maybe they will reveal he was raised in UK
@CPTCUDDLES Heh, that was always one of the things that bugged me about AC games. I never felt like it was really about an assassin, more like a Rambo character.
@LeRougeau yeah not sure, weird they will miss such a big flaw. must have some explanation.
"Once you stop giving us your money."
@Snepstok you haven't played Assassin's Creed have you?
@Snepstok your ridiculous snepsock
@Navardo95 @Meatwad650 Navardo, you're kidding right? GTAV didn't look good, it used bright colours to trick people into thinking it did. The game also had horrible pop-in issues, and a lot of bad textures in the mountainous areas. Uncharted 2 was good for the time, considering it was a console game too. But none of them can ever compare to a properly developed PC release as PCs are just more powerful than consoles.
Well, it's not for everybody. The first one certainly had flaws, and you were either a fan or you weren't. You guys should've given ACII a try though, because it vastly improved AC in all the areas AC1 fell short in.
@oldtobie @crusaderprophet AC3 was the closest to an outright failure, along with (maybe) AC2 - Revelations. But that's taking an expansive definition of "failure." Basically they fell short of expectations based on the other games. AC4 was brilliant. The series is constantly revising itself, for good and ill. I'm playing through AC2 again right now, and I'm shocked at how much better the controls were in later games. And yet I'm missing the great music and much better writing and the free-running of AC2. I'm hoping AC:Unity brings back the energy of AC2 and Brotherhood, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy all the other games in the series as well.
For those of you who gave up after the original Assassin's Creed, I did too--for awhile. But the difference in quality from the first to the second is astonishing. Seriously, give it a try. You can pick up AC2 for ten bucks used. The first game was rough, but the others have mostly been solid games.
