There are a bunch of indie horror games. Check Desura and Steam Greenlight, there's bound to be something worth playing between the million slender remakes.

I always loved Sim City games and played the hell out of them, but this one is going to be wait and see. Didn't get a chance to check out the Beta so I don't know too much about it either. Beside that work takes up nearly all my time atm.

I haven't been able to comment for a couple of weeks. Every news article shows me signed out on Livefyre and when I click Sign In, I just get bumped to the top of the page and still signed out.

I don't truly know how long it has been like this since I havent commented on anything in a while.

Currently using Chrome. It looks like I automatically signed in when using IE-64bit. However, I refuse to use IE for any real purpose other than testing  =P

Same for me except I'm using firefox 64 bit with Windows 7.

If you don't mind dated graphics play the original HL1 first

If you do mind dated graphics get the Black Mesa mod and play it

Then play HL2

I say it's really worth it still, the flow of the game, scripted events and environments are just fenomenal.

HL2 can be a bit tedious at times where certain scenes go on too long, but still worth playing.

I'm a fan of the old Tomb Raider games (1-5) and while skeptical about modernizations of a set franchise I'll keep an eye out to see if it turns out good. Hoping for the best.

I'm not really excited for either, but I'm always open for change, so I'm still looking forward to the reviews to see what the games have to offer. If it's good I'll probably buy it and play it at some point.

AI. I play games when I want to relax and fighting against human opponents requires focus. That's why I don't play online very often. Also online games often have players that have far more time invested and have in depth knowledge. I mostly switch between a lot of different games and never really delve deep into an online component, and I don't give myself the time to learn. I rather experience new games than play the same thing for 1000 hours.

I fought the Taurus Demon at friend's house and finished him in 2 minutes without overpowered equipment. Will the game's difficulty continue to go on like this or does it spike somewhere? And the combat looks only Light Attack+ Occasional Heavy Attack+ Roll to me. Can someone clear up these doubts? I really want to be sure before I get it, so that's why I'm asking.

You can do shield bashes, parry's, kicks, backstabs, use bows and use a few dozen spells. Also all weapon types have different attacks. (maces, 2hand swords, axes, etc.) And lawl yes, yes the game will be more difficult.
