Feels like a visual showcase with extremely linear / limited gameplay and scripted events. No thanks.

Dead batteries from Pokemon cartridges. Vase with water falling over my Playstation weeks after I bought it in 1997. PS2 falling out of cabinet because of tripping over controller wires.

I liked the feeling of adventure in the first two (mainly second one) games, didn't like UC3 at ALL though. Uncharted 2 was worth playing through multiple times for me, because the locations were just stunning.

I spent the first half of the gen playing PS2 games and WoW and the second half of the gen playing indie games and a few memorable titles like Dishonored and Far Cry 3. There were a lot of good games but not that many GREAT games imo.

Uncharted 3- Finished it but it I found it incredibly boring compared to Uncharted 2 for some reason. Too much combat, and the locations didn't really appeal to me. Incredibly repetetive.

Assassins Creed series- I love exploring the city but thats about it. Skilled as I got at jumping around there is always going to be a moment where your character does the wrong move / jump and all goes to hell. Not a fan of the combat mechanics either. Became repetetive after a while too.

The Witcher 2- I didn't like the combat. Not because it was harder than average, it just didn't appeal to me at all. Played for a few hours, stored for later. I will give it another try.

Bastion- Played for a dozen hours, never really liked the gameplay, atmosphere or level structure. The voiceover was amazing ofcourse though.

Sleeping Dogs- The city felt so small.. I felt like I explored everything after an hour or free roaming. Will give the story another go later probably.

Mass Effect 3- Dozen hours in and Im not nearly enjoying it as much as ME 1 and 2. Extremely repetetive.

Halo series- No matter how often I tried both Halo 1 and 2 I can't get into it. I don't have anything against older games, but I just can't get into it once again.

God of War series- Not a fan of the genre I think. Too repetetive and QTE gimmicky.

Gears of War series- Couldn't get into it, too repetetive.

Resistance series- Didn't enjoy the shooting and it felt repetetive as hell.
