Not gonna lie...F2P sends up major red flags for me.
I'm still gonna be following this one though. I'll obviously try it, I mean come on...it's free, however my expectations are considerably lower now.
I believe F2P only makes sense in the mobile market, each and every F2P game I've played that wasn't on my phone has been total shit. I hope this one turns out good...but the F2P model and the fact that Capcom is developing it haven't got me feeling to optimistic.
This shit is ridiculous! Anytime you change a product with no real artistic purpose, you know what they call you? A sell out!
Metallica was chastised for pulling the same thing when they put out the Black Album back in the day! There's nothing wrong with change but when it has no artistic merit and is solely meant to make cash, you forfeit all artistic integrity!
Kojima should be ashamed of himself for even thinking of this idea, let alone stating it in a public forum!
I bought a Wii U at full original retail price and while an ambassador program would've been nice, I didn't expect one nor am I but hurt Nintendo isn't offering it.
They were already losing money on every Wii U sold before the price cut and people want them to give more shit away for free? I think consumers are getting a little too entitled now.
EA I'm all for a new Dead Space title however two conditions MUST be met to earn my money.
1) Less emphasis on mindless shooting, and more emphasis on horror. I. E. more anticipation and build up between combat encounters.
In Dead Space combat encounters SHOULD feel desperate and dangerous. Force me to utilize strategy, tactics, and strict inventory management to survive brutal encounters.
2) Don't give us another numbered sequel staring Isac Clark. We've Seen his story, its now time to expand the universe.
Revisit the Extraction characters, perhaps give us an extraction squeal which is a fully fleshed out first person SURVIVAL HORROR game.
Regardless we've had thee very similar Dead Space sequels, and part three was markedly lower in quality compared to the first two.
I WILL NOT play another unless Visceral does something significant to mix up the formula in an interesting way while still keeping the core of the franchise (The Necromorphs, psychological horror, terror, violence, suspense, sci fi setting) intact.
I WON'T be buying an X-Box 720 for the following reasons. 1. More expenive than PS 4 2. My console won't work unless I am online 100% of the time 3. The PS 4 will be available first. 4. PlayStation has better exclusive properties and most importantly 5. FREE ONLINE! F you Microsoft, the 360 may have been my console of choice but you are dead to me now!
